~Alex's POV~

'I'm not being creepy..I am not being creepy..' went the chant I continuously sang in my head as I spoke to my only friends.

Rian and Matt shared a look of amusement when I told them of my new crush/tiny obsession with the new kid.

Zack..well he called me a creep, started laughing and said he was in, but I'd have to be blind if I said I didn't see something I couldn't quite put my finger on flash in his eyes.

I would ask Matt and Rian about him later

All this was conversed very quickly in the lunchroom. I ran out the minute I saw Jack enter the cafeteria. Well all agreed to speak nothing of me and to only focus on them becoming friends.

Now, even I'd be a liar if not to admit that therev was a small part of me telling myself that maybe I was going a tad bit over board..welcome to the stage the real, pathetic, worthless, Alexander William Gaskarth...I silenced the voice we all have in our heads with a reassuring thought:

It's not like I follow his every move.

Nope, that I did not do. just a everyday plan to find out about a gorgeous boy.

~Zack's POV~

I felt myself take a sharp pain stab at my chest as Alex told Rian,Matt, and me about the new kid Jack. I had nothing against the kid honest, he seemed nice enough, being a person's bestfriend for as long aav I had been tends to turn you into a bit of a momma bear.

I knew every little detail involving Alex's life, even the things that would make you cringe at the mere thought itself.

It was a pathetic excuse I know, hiding behind our friendship as if it were my own personal security blanket.

I Zack Merrick, am a cliche amongst cliches..I have a huge crush on my bestfriend and have single handedly agreed to helping him get with his new found 'love interest'.

Still now was not the time for my selfish wants and desires to start making an appearance after all these years, I needed to be a friend-a bestfriend- and be it to the utmost of my ability. Even if that meant metaphorically stabbing myself repeatedly over and over again by helping my Alex be happy with someone other then myself.

Now all I had to worry about was weather or not I had enough strength to not give away any signs the could ultimately be the slow decent into a destroyed friendship.

I did as told...when Jack came into the cafeteria we were all nice and welcomed him with open arms. To anyone else I bet we looked like the nicest bunch of brats ever.

I will neither confirm or deny said statement and I will leave up to you. I'm mean after all we're sorta trapping this kid..so yeah, entirely up to you.

~Alex's POV~ (After School)

Once the last bell sounded I practically flew out of my English class, which was thankfully my last class of the day and to my locker.

Matt had texted me about ten minutes ago asking if we could hang out after school at his house.

I threw all my books into my bookbag. All in all it had taken me around five minutes to get out of the horrid building.  People need to quit having sex, the halls are packed wall to wall..its gross.

I really needed to get a car I thought to myself as it began to lightly rain. I saw a pale blue house up in the distance with a bunch of flowers in the front yard.

Yes, the Matt Flyzick resides here and I'm glad its only a block or two away from school.

~Matt's POV~

I ran into Jack on my way to my last class, since we had a lot of classes together it came as no surprise.

I should invite Jack to my house to come hang out and invite Alex too!

"Hey Jack, if you're not busy after school wanna come to my house?" I was almost surprised at how my voice came out calm and collected.

His eyes lit up considerably when I asked this. "Yeah I'd love too!"

I gotta admit Jacks child like features and demeanor was quite refreshing in a way that I couldn't help but to appreciate it.

"Wait, I don't know where you live" a pout was evident on his face. I laughed and rolles my eyes in a joking fashion.

"Well yeah, I was gonna give you it. Or I.could just give you a ride. Which ever you want."

A smile broke out on his face as he nodded his head like a small child.

Now all that was left was to tell Alex to come over today..

~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~

Jack and I sat at opposite ends of the bed. I had already told him another friend of mine would be coming over.

"You really you don't need to worry Jack. Alex is a great guy, I'm sure you'll just love him." I laughed a little...in my mind towards the end of my words of comfort.

They seemed to be enough for him I guess. I heard Alex's signature knock from my bedroom. I excused myself from the room and went down stairs to open the door for said Alex.

I opened the door a felt a smug smirk tugging at my lips.

"Hey buddy, come in."
