The conversation we had while sipping our beverages wasn't one that I'd preferably share with you. No it wasn't something private or driven by sexual measures but it was merely one related to the details of the lives we both led and I'd rather cherish than share.
What did matter was Drew kept his promise.
"Last sip? Leaving soon huh." I said as our conversation about our lives ended.
"Don't you want to know the reason I named you Drizzle?" He asked.
"I take up challenges and honour them Mr Sorentto."
"Well then I guess I'll be hearing about your opinions because finding the true reason might not come with your constant observant behaviour. Dive a little deeper Drizzle." Drew replied as he shot me a quick smile and got up to leave the booth.
"Well I shall look forward to cracking the code too. Oh and Drew?" I said as he waved and started to exit the little cafe.
He turned to look around as I continued speaking finally what I had wanted to say since his little tantrum-speech at the library:
"In biology class one day, we dissected a heart and our teacher told us that the heart strings(tendons) inside the human heart can sometimes break after deep emotional trauma causing the heart to lose form and as a result be unable to pump blood. You can die from a broken heart."
His face went from a totally recognisable happy goodbye one to an unreadable one. He looked taken aback and awestruck at the same moment and it was in these situations that I wondered how nice and mysterious it would have been if it wasn't for my observant/deducing behaviour.
He walked over to me, took me by my hand and then well as the stories state "did the unthinkable". Drew Deliah Sorentto kissed me. Not just a small peck but a lip to lip, possibly French kiss. Possibly because it was that day that I gave my first kiss to the beautiful eyed boy.
"I won't say sorry Drizzle. You truly are amazing and I am glad that your observant little mind thought of coming upto me and correcting my knowledge, even though it did hurt my ego. As I stated before, is it too early to say I love you?" were the words that came out of his mouth as he bore his gaze into mine.
"I have two sarcastic responses waiting which would spoil the first cliche moment I've ever had in my eighteen years of existence. My suggestion to you is to immediately leave before i do as i stated Drew." I said.
And that was how our first date(?) ended. Him leaving me not stunned but kind of happy at a small cafe about 3 miles away from my apartment. You didn't see me complaining tho.

The next I saw of Drew was an actual arranged date. We had connected quite well over different social medias. Constant bleeping of the phone had started to become less irritating for me. Instead I looked forward to conversing with my, well my acquaintance turned boyfriend(?) The amount of philosophical chats we had went from one or two to innumerable . What was most intriguing about Drew was the fact that he never did really ask questions. He'd go along with whatever topic we accidentally came upon while discussing: no questions asked ever. Maybe this was the reason that over the course of innumerable conversations and one date that I started to feel something towards him. Something greater than affection or what is now popularised as love.
Now the next date I was talking about was not held in some fancy restaurant with three to four beautiful water fountains, too many lights on the ceiling that nearly blinded your vision or proper silver cutlery being set by servers who looked like they had just stepped out of some movie. We went to a bar. A normal give-me-a-margarita-and-hear-me-whine-about-my-life bar. There were no sudden songs being dedicated nor was there much dancing included. Frankly I sucked at dancing while Drew enjoyed it but that didn't stop him from giving me a private dance show.
"Drizzle you should really try and dance my love. Not dance like the modern twerkers but sway with the beat. Put on some classic Elvis Presley and just let your body do the work for you." He said when I politely declined his offer to dance by shouting NO.
"But you don't understand my beloved that I'm not the Elvis Presley kind of girl. Play me some greenday or Bob Marley and you shall see me dance." I smiled looking at him.
"Ah you did love my music taste my little  greenday fan. Well don't you think she deserves another Long Island Pete?"
I laughed at the choice of name Drew gave to the bartender. The perks of living in a predictable world: every bartender would be named Pete or George. Oh for pete's sake don't humans have the ability to think of names worth annunciating!
"Sure thing mate." Pete replied and got on with mixing me the drink of the devil.
"Why Adria?" Drew asked as he watched me.
"I tend to wonder that myself sometimes. I had a friend, back in the day who was allowed to choose her own name at the age of four. I wanted that freedom too so I looked up some uncommon names. Then I looked up some common names. After fifteen minutes of researching I decided that I'd rather be a mysterious dark magician instead of some pretty flower girl."
"Adria. A synonym for dark." He completed.
"As true as can be." I replied as I stirred my newly bought drink.
"Was your friends name by any chance Alaska Young?"
"It's fascinating the way you obsess over every novel and every character of John Green yet try to find a way to dislike them."
"That my dear Drizzle is a talent. One that started with a heartbroken 13 year old. I May even just dictate to you the story of Sheldon Cooper hating Will Wheaton but as i must say, you wont understand it."
I did end up dancing that night, even with my miserable moves and some old slow song playing in the background. All i really did think or mind was the smile on the face of the beautiful eyed boy dancing with me.
"Stop staring at my girl you horny kids" he had said when two teenagers tried approaching us and i had laughed away.

"I adore your smile."
"I adore your nose."
"I adore your nose too."
"I adore you my Drizzle."
We were sat in an open field, one with grass as fresh as hell because it really did poke my butt through my skirt. After dancing to songs and drinking alcohol we made the clever decision of walking home and experiencing the romance of the night. Well we didn't go home but we did find an abandoned blanket and my injured leg gave up right there.
"I want you." Drew said.
"You can have me. You did proclaim me as your girlfriend back in the bar." I replied as i hugged him.
He broke from the hug and took my face in his hands, his palms resting on my cheeks.
"Adria, will you do me the pleasure of being my girlfriend so that i can adore and devour every part of you? Will you allow me to call you mine every time i see of you and tell you how beautiful you are?" He looked into my eyes literally looking for an answer.
I inched forward and let my lips touch his.
I moved to kiss his cheek and then whispered my answer in his ear.
"Yes my prince."
He didn't waste any time as he pulled me up onto his laid form, me straddling him, and chastisly kissed me.
it wasn't a bad third kiss. not bad at all.
