Feast or Fight ?

When we get home I have a lot to think about, I mean the Malum showing up at the market and destroying it right as I'm leaving, that can't be a good sign. Kip and I are sitting in our bedroom thinking about what happened. I sit on my bed polishing my sword mindlessly. Then mom calls us down for dinner. We come down and sit. Everyone eats in silence. We are eating lasagna with lobster soup. It's so good, but I can't focus on how good the food is, I can only think about the Malum. Tomorrow is the kickoff feast for I.A.M.A.O. I can't wait. After dinner I hop into bed and fall asleep immediately.

When I wake up everyone is rushing to get down to the dock. I walk downstairs and grab breakfast. Then I walk back upstairs to get dressed in my uniform. I then walk down to the dock to see if anyone besides my father and the young ones are there. No one is there except for my youngest siblings and dad.

"Aren't you going to the feast ?" He asks.

"Yeah but I have plenty of time." I reply.

"Oh right, well see you later." He says. Then he walks back up to the house. I decide I should probably get going. I take off, and go high enough to break the barrier, then I break it. This should take about one minute to get to school. When I see the doorway I pass through and I'm there. Almost everyone is there I see my family getting food and I fly down to them. We all get food and then sit down. There are ten other children in my family that are old enough to go to I.A.M.A.O. In chronological order. There names are Kala, Kyle, Kevin, Kiara, Kesh, Keegan, Kirk, Kirsten, Karen, and Killian. Also Kip. As soon as we get our food and sit down Kala sees her boyfriend and leaves. Then Kyle, Kevin, Kesh, and Keegan all see their swim team friends and run over to goof off with them. Not long after that Kiara, Kirsten and Karen see their posse waiting for them and run off to. Now it's just Kip, Killian, Mom and I left. Finally Killian sees his geekish friends and runs over to them. Then Kip spots his pre-swim club buds and walks off.

Now it's just mom and me. I sit and eat until my plate is empty. Mom tells me to go hangout with Kip and his friends instead of skulking around. So I take off and fly over the party until I see Kip and his buds. I feel like something is wrong so I land but higher up in a tree. I can see that a bunch of bad looking mudkipish boys have circled around Kip. I hear them talking to Kip but I can't make out what they're saying so I go down closer. Then I hear

"Stop resisting Kip, we just want to know if your brother is worth getting on our side," says a tall mudkipish kid.

"You don't want him, heh, heh," says Kip.

"Oh, yeah, well I only want the best guys to do exactly as I say not wimps like yourself. Oh, and since I only want the best then why wouldn't I want someone who can travel faster than the speed of sound ?" says the leader of the gang of mudkips.

"Uh, Um well,"stutters Kip.

"Because I don't want to," I say.

"Oh, well boys it seems as if we have a visitor to join the party," says the leader of the gang.

"We aren't here to party, now if I could just get through to the other side of the circle."

"Nice try but you ain't go'in anywhere. Get'em." All the mudkips start attacking first with punches then kicks then a full on brawl I try my hardest to keep Kip and I safe without actually fighting but they break my barrier spell with a few well placed punches. Now we're in the fight Kip and I back to back both placing well placed punches and kicks. They just have more people. We are about to really feel the pain when they all freeze. Well not actually more like are pulled away from us. I don't see what's going on until Kip points to some vines grasping their feet.
