Today is the first day of I.A.M.A.O. And Kip is running around our room making sure we have everything we need. Killian comes into our room watches Kip for a minute and sits down next to me.

"I see you two are having fun," he says.

"Yeah, Kip is... excited," I say.

"At least you guys won't forget anything," he says. I'm glad Kip is the one who is showing his fright on the outside, because on the inside I'm freaking out too. KIllian leaves after another minute of watching Kip. I sit in silence for awhile thinking and then I get up and help Kip.

After Kip is done freaking out and is satisfied that we haven't forgot anything, we walk downstairs for breakfast. We are eating waffles with a surprise. They're not supposed to be called that but since dad made them there is definitely going to be something interesting in them. I sit down and take a bite. Hmmmm tastes, fishy.

"Dad, what did you put in here ?" I ask.

"Uh, I might have dropped a little bit of three day old flounder in the waffles." He says.

"Uhhhh!"

"Ewww!"

"I think I'm going to be sick." So after that little incident everyone is in the bathrooms barfing or vomiting, violently. We still have to go to school though. Kip and I go up to our bedroom and get into our uniforms. When we're ready we gather downstairs with the rest of the kids going to I.A.M.A.O. Then our parents walk in. They tell everyone to have a good year and that we'll see them at Christmas and that we better head out so we don't miss the train. When the train gets hear they help us load up and get in and then their gone just a blur against the outline of the sea flying by beneath us.

We stop at other stops and then we're off, really flying across the land. After thirty minutes of flying over flat land we come to a mountain. We then start slowly climbing up the mountain. We get to the top of the mountain and my breath is taken away. It's like an oasis up here. There is a freshwater spring the size of a small lake. Over there the mountain keeps going up. I can see dragons and dark faeries up there. Diving then, climbing back up. There is a great evergreen forest. I can hear wild animals calling and roaring. But the grandest part of all is the castle in the center. That's the school. The train pulls up to the school and we all get out unload our bags from the train and go inside. Our bags are taken by the janitor and gamekeeper. Then we are escorted into the great hall, where there is a huge feast to welcome the newcomers.

"This is amazing," says Kip.

"I know." I say

"Do you think we'll see that Eva girl again ?" Kip asks.

"I don't know." I respond.

"Well, see you later." He says.

"What ? Oh, right element groups." I say. He nods to me then leaves to go sit at his table. You don't know what I mean do you. Well element grouping is kind of like houses. Except we do it by element. So since I'm a dark faerie I'm associated with air or magic, but usually air. Then Kip is associated with water because he's a mudkip. There is also life and fire. Elves are associated with life. Dragons and dragon tamers are with fire. There is also earth, with dwarves, and lots of minor species for all elements. Then magic is where all the wizards and warlocks and witches and enchantresses and royal dark faeries go. Now you're probably wondering what the difference is between a wizard and a warlock. Well a warlock is the same as a wizard but they usually use their magic for their own purposes. Same with witches and enchantresses. I start to head over to the air table when I remember that I am a royal faerie, so I get to go to the magic table. This table is smaller than the others because only a few wizards and royal dark faeries go to this school. I count about thirty wizards and witches, twenty enchantresses and warlocks, and ten royals including me. I notice that the royals and wizards seem to be separated. I go sit down at the table.
