The Big Game

The day before the big game against the Karan I am out practicing late and get back to the common room as fast as I can, but everyone is asleep. I sneak into my bed and notice a note on my desk it reads,

Dear Jasper,

We have seen you in school and we know who you and your parents are. We are coming for you Jasper. We won't tell you when, just know it will be soon and it will be painful.

The Malum

I read it over and over until I've memorized it. I can't believe that someone who goes to our school is a part of the Malum I try to sleep but it is impossible. The next morning all classes are canceled because of the game so I get to sleep in. When Bill wakes me up there is still some breakfast in the great hall so I go there and eat. By the time I'm finished I realize I'm supposed to be at the field in five minutes. I rush out of the great hall and start to fly as fast as I can. Without breaking the sound barrier. I get there just in time to put my uniform on and get on the field. The game jersey are awesome. Our colors are gold, purple and red. The uniforms are a shirt with the right side red and the left side gold. Then we wear purple pants and boots. It's time to go on the field.

"Ladies and gentlemen, students and teachers, witches, wizards, dragons and faeries. Today we are here to see these two teams face off in our favorite sport, Splatter ! Our home team the I.A.M.A.O. Bludgers." Everyone cheers. "And over here we have the Karan Klashers !" There is a large cheer not as big as ours but still pretty big. Both teams run onto the field.

"Let the games, begin" We're off. The first minute is finding a good hiding spot for the treasure and the defenders. Lindor jumps into a tree and hides there waiting for the warriors and other scouts to come I hide in a bush until the other team passes then I'll go get their treasure. The minute is over and everything is ready. The first warrior passes me and I here an "Oh, crap !" Lindor got'em. When the next on e comes I think that he's a warrior, But then I look at the uniform and realize he's a scout. Immediately I jump out and splatter him then I take off and fly over the field. I try to help one of our warriors but the scout got to him to quickly. I see a defender. He's not hiding very well, so I swoop down and take him out. That's three on their bench. I see Lindor. He gives me a reassuring salute and start to turn away when I realize there is another elf climbing up to splatter him. I yell,

"Duck !" Then I send a huge glob of paint at the other elf. Lindor ducks and the paint hits the elf square in the chest. The elf goes flying and lands on his own bench.

"Great hit !" Lindor yells triumphantly. Then Lindor jumps down and starts running. I follow him and see their treasure. I fly down and land right in front of her. The remaining defenders All try to splatter me but I shoot up like a rocket and splatter them in the process. I then go right for their treasure. I hit her smack dab in the middle of her chest and then the game is over. Lindor walks over covered in red paint.

"This is your fault, I had the treasure. Let me handle it next time." He raves. Then he stomps away the like the angriest being on our planet.

"It's not my fault I'm this good !" I reply angrily. I mean really what's this guy's problem. I walk off the field and I' met by thousands of cheers. Now I know why he's jealous.

After the game I get carried all the way back to the common room. We have a huge party full of magic. After the party the other faeries teach me how to go into the other dimension. It's pretty cool. I even figured out a way to stop time on the outside when we're on the inside. Now the faeries and everyone else can be friends again. Once we all get in our separate rooms we immediately fall asleep. The next morning as I'm walking to breakfast I hear a crash. I turn around and I'm caught in some sort of fight I can't see who it is but all I can see is a flash of what looks like moonlight and I'm out cold.
