Kuroo POV:

To celebrate my first apartment and to truly thank my volleyball team for helping me out with getting this apartment, I decided that I would throw a small party.

I previously asked my apartment neighbours if it would be okay and they had no problems with the party and noise.

Thank god I don't have neighbours that hate noise because knowing Bokuto, I would probably be kicked out before I pay my first rent.
The neighbours seemed shocked that I decided to move here, is it really that bad of an apartment? I like it.
How bad can it really be??

Third person POV:

Kuroo was currently playing/singing (more like screaming) along to bubblegum bitch by Marina and the diamonds.
Kenma sat on the couch watching/listening, he couldn't complain because it was one of his favourite songs.
So, the small ghost hummed along.

Kuroo could've sworn that he heard humming but then excused it soon after realizing that it was probably part of the song or he was just humming along in his head.
Kenma just continued to watch the tall boy clean until he picked up his phone and dialled a number.

"Bokuto? Heey!" Kuroo practically screamed.
"Yea I'm playing bubblegum bitch! Bokuto stop singing along! How am I supposed to invite you to my party If your screaming the lyrics to bubblegum bitch?? Yea I'm hosting a party!"

"Party"
Kenma's eyes widened and his stomach felt like it dropped down a 100 story building.
"He's having a party, party=people..." He whispered to himself.

"Okay okay I gotta go invite other people bro, I'll see you there!" Kuroo hung up and dialled the next person, and the next person, and the next an so on and so forth.
Every time he dialled another number made Kenma even more nervous.
Finally Kuroo put down the phone and continued to clean.

Kenma didn't even know how much people were invited, he was too busy freaking out to keep track. But there was one thing he knew for sure...
This was going to be a long night for the poor Kenma Kozume.

-
The poor ghost was right, it was definitely going to be a long night.
It was only 30 minutes into the party but it felt like 30 years. Kenma was currently hiding in a small room away from all the people. It wasn't even a big party but it was big enough for Kenma's anxiety to go through the roof.
Ever since he was a child he struggled with being social.
He was always scared of people but, he wouldn't be as scared of people if he wasn't killed by one.
Having a house full of people to Kenma was like having someone who was mauled by a bear be forced into a room full of bears.

While Kenma was in a room trying to calm down, Kuroo was sitting on the couch watching a fight between the team's star setter and his boyfriend.

"Ow!!! Iwa-chan that hurts!!" Oikawa screamed as his hair was being pulled.
"The don't use my shampoo shittykawa!" The other more aggressive male yelled as he raised his hand about to lightly slap Oikawa in the face.
"Nonono not the face!" Oikawa yelled,
covering his face.

Kuroo lightly chuckled. Someone who doesn't know the two as well as the team would think that Iwaizumi was being "abusive" but in reality, the slaps and punches are extremely light.

Oikawa just likes to be dramatic and likes to complain.

Kuroo couldn't help but feel kind of lonely. Everyone on the team had a couple except for him.
'I guess I'm destined to be a single lady all the single ladies.. All the single ladies all the single ladies, put your hands up!'
Kuroo thought, mentally laughing at his own joke. What a dork.

After awhile, Kenma finally walked out of the room.

"Give me a toss Kageyama!!"
A second after the boy heard someone scream those 5 words, he saw a volleyball come flying right at him.
Let's just say that Kenma went right back to square one, hiding in the room.

An hour later, Kenma re built up the courage to walk out of the room.
Unfortunately for Kenma, it was then a particularly loud owl showed up to the party.

The door bursted open, followed by a loud and enthusiastic,

"Hey hey hey!!!"

Kenma froze in fear. He barely made it out of the hallway and there was already a terrifying man screaming.
He recognized the man as the one guy who helped Kuroo move his boxes.

The loud and scary man wasn't the only one showing up to the party.

"Bokuto-San don't be so loud, it's embarrassing and you'll anger the neighbours.." A boy slightly shorter and more calmer looking complained.

"Sorry Akaashi.." Bokuto replied, quieter. The quietness quickly came to a stop.
"Oh!!! By the way! Sorry we were late you called me just as we were visiting the new local dog cafe, we ended up staying longer than expected and we adopted a puppy! Isn't he cute??" Bokuto said happily releasing the dog out of its kennel.

The dog noticed Kenma and started loudly barking at him, causing Kenma to run back into his hideout.
He completely forgot about the fact that dogs were on the list of the few things that can see spirits.

Kenma wasn't the only person unhappy with having a dog run around the house.
Kuroo didn't particularly like dogs, especially when they slobbered.
Eventually everyone calmed down and they all decided to watch a movie.

"Ooo! What about E.T!" Oikawa suggested as they looked at the movie suggestions earning a slap on the back of the head from Iwaizumi.
"We've watched that movie probably over a thousand times!" Iwaizumi protested.

"What about Jurassic park?"

"What about mean girls"

"What about E.T- ow!!"

Kuroo sighed in defeat and ended up putting on a random select movie.

'Paranormal activity'

"Oh god this movie sucks!" Kuroo yelled immediately regretting his decision.

By the end of the movie, everyone was practically asleep. They unfortunately ended up getting woken up by Hinata screaming.

"You're such a wimp!" Kageyama said, glaring at Hinata.

"Am not!"

"Are too"

After the two argued, everyone noticed the time and decided that they should head home. After a number of goodbyes, Kuroo was left in a messy apartment with "first apartment" gifts, alone. Or at least he thought.

After a couple minutes of cleaning the apartment, Kuroo stopped to hear faint crying coming from the hallway.
"Is that.. Crying?" The boy thought as he placed the broom down and slowly but cautiously made his way down the hall. There was nothing.
"The neighbour must be having a tough time, maybe I should go ask them what's wrong in the morning" Kuroo thought as he yawned and climbed into bed, passing out as soon as his head hit the pillow.

Kenma noticed that everyone was gone and finally stepped out of the room. He saw the leftover mess and couldn't help but be bothered.
Kenma didn't like cleaning but if the mess stayed, that means that he would have to hear Kuroo scream/sing along to songs all morning long which he didn't want. This motivated him to actually do something which was clean.
He was thankful that being a ghost didn't prevent him from handling objects.

After a long hour of cleaning. Kenma noticed that Kuroo was sleeping awfully uncomfortably.
Kenma sighed and begun to tuck him in, placing the blanket on him and turning off the lights. He looked back at the taller male and saw how much peaceful he looked sleeping.
Kenma stood there admiring how beautiful Kuroo looked asleep. His bed head was even crazier than usual, his face slightly squished against the pillow, the moonlight hitting his face perfectly. Was Kenma falling for the new "roommate"?
Absolutely.

After a small debate in Kenma's mind, he ended up deciding that it would be best if he slept with Kuroo. It's not like he would get caught, he can't be seen after all.

That's exactly what Kenma Kozume did.
