Twisted Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy

Chapter 1 - the News

Clary emerged from her slumber on her stomach, with her hair plastered to her neck, for a moment she was so disoriented that she forgot where she was but soon realized she was in one of the institutes many bedrooms due to the fact of the comforter on the bed she was laying in. last night she arrived back with Jace from demon hunting and was too exhausted to go home so she slept there, It wasn't a irregular thing of her to do she would always come up with some excuse to stay there so she didn't have to go home to see her mom and now step dad Luke making out on the couch. her mom does't trust her there yet, so the deal is when she stays there her and Jace can't stay in the same bedroom. She sometimes breaks there rules.

The sun was already up so naturally she assumed is was probably past 7am. pushing the sheets to the side she got out of bed and walked over to the bathroom and brushed her teeth and tied her hair up into a bun. Leaving the bedroom she heard the faint sound of the keys being play on a piano, walking through the hall way towards the music she wondered how so much could change over the course of a year, just 2 months ago was her mothers wedding and 8 months previous to that she was in pandemonium living her normal life as a teenager, now she is one of the most known people in the shadow world, if not the most known person in the shadow world for being related to Valentine Morgensten and Jonathan Christopher Morgenstern or as he prefer Sebasatian. If she wasn't known for that she would also be known for being the girlfriend of Jace Herondale, the boy who was a Wayland then her brother then a Herondale, the boy who died and came back to life, who was possed by lilith and controlled by Sebastian, and last but not least the boy who had heavenly fire running through his veins. They've  all changed for the better. Lately she has been talking to Simon, he is heading to the Academy tomorrow to train and Clary didn't realize at first how much she was going to miss him, but she is really gonna miss him. For a second she wished that she could go with him but in reality it would be a bad idea.

Arriving at the music room she found Jace in Baggy pants and a Grey V neck with tousled morning hair, and yet he still looked hot. He was so focused on his piece he did't notice her walk in, he was playing some piano piece Clary couldn't name, She wasn't really smart when It came to music but she could tell it was quite complicated and he was playing it very well. 

She started to approach him from behind and hug him right before he quickly turned around and pulled her down on to his lap, Immediately she stared to giggle. this isn't the first time this has happened, Jace always beats her to the surprised due to his excessive training and impeccable hearing skills.

Still giggling she looked down into Jace's Gorgeous warm golden eyes."thats my favourite sound" he whispered into her ear. She smiled and kissed him softly until he kissed her deeply and it became heated quickly until they hear some movement in the background, Clary turned her head to find Isabelle Leaning in the door frame,"Sorry to ruin your 'moment' but mom wants us in the library, she says its urgent." she said. Jace started to kiss Clary's neck and yelled back "yes you did ruin our moment Isabelle, and I don't think your sorry about it" Clary blushed like a cherry and replied "we will be down in a few."  As Isabelle leaving she stopped for a moment and yelled back "you know this institute has over a hundred empty bedrooms, I'm sure you can find one on the other side of the Institute where no one can hear your grunts and groans".

"Oh God" Clary said "Thats was embarrassing" Jace smirked "she's done worst". Clary smiled and pecked his lips, she got off his lap and held out a hand for her he took it and stood up and they both headed towards the Library. "What do you think your mom wants?" Clary asked. "who knows, maybe she just wants to tell us she is heading back to idris" Jace repiled. Lately Clary has noticed Jace has been stressed about Maryse because of what happened with Robert, they can't even be in the same room now, but only Clary knows this because she can see through the foggy glass around his heart. 

They both walked into the library only to find that Simon, Isabelle, Magnus, Alec, and Maryse were all waiting for them "you took your time" Alec directed to Jace. " why, yes, yes we did, I also noticed that you weren't here last night. Busy?" Jace's lip twitched. Alec mutterd something under his breath too quite for Clary to hear.

"Okay thats Enough you too" Maryse cut Alec off "As you all know Simon will be attending the Shadowhunter Academy in order to ascend" Simon blushed and Alec patted him on the shoulder. "The clave has stated that many other shadowhunters across the world who grew up away from city will be attending for trying. and they would like you to attend as well" This cut everyone off Guard. "What?" Isabelle yelled. " calm down Iz I'm sure that Mom has a good reason, you do right mom? because I don't know if I want to go to a school full with a bunch of rich brats who think they can do anything they can"Jace said calmly. "Yes in fact there is, The clave thinks it would be good to have you guys a role models to the kids and give them a taste of what it's like to be a shadowhunter" Maryse replied. The room was filled with silence until clary confidently said "I'm down".

"oh really?" Jace asked with a eyebrow raised. "yea I need some training, because no offence jace but you aren't the best teacher"Clary stated. "Oh really? I think I'm a great teacher"Jace said. "We barely did anything but kiss last time"Clary laughed "Besides it could be a good experience for all of us"Clary stated. Jace made a reluctant noise "Good" Clary said."I'm Glad I Don't have to do this" Magnus smiled. "oh no Mr. bane you will be teaching Downworlder history classes to the mundanes, you know since you have lived so many years. According to you" Maryse stated. Magnums eyes went wide  okay Mrs. Lightwood but I better be payed well, you will owe me and I'm Talking ruby and diamonds" He stated. "well then it's settled you all leave tomorrow afternoon, oh and Clary I talked to you mother and Luke and they don't mind". with that Maryse left the room and headed to her office. "Well I will see you guys later I'm going home to get packed" Clary stated and left the Institute.
