Jay's pov
Ugh, I hate pretending to love. It makes my heart ache. But gotta do it till someone saves me or I save myself. I sat in the bedroom that the Overlord gave to me since I didn't feel like sleeping on the nice cozy couch or..... in the Overlord's room. Ugh, my stomach started to churn at the thought of that.
I laid down on the nice comfy bed which has navy blue sheets and navy blue comforter and pillows. The walls and carpet was once again black. Probably the whole place was black. My eyes wondered around, looking for anyway to escape. There was a window, but I noticed there was something that would trigger an alarm.
Ugh, not much way to escape. I really hope someone has noticed that I'm gone and is searching for me. Or I'm stuck here with one of our worst villains that we have faced in our ninja career so far. Speaking of getting stuck, I'm probably going to become this guy's husband....
I gagged at the thought. I never thought my life might end with me married to the Overlord instead of Nya. A sigh escaped my lips as I turned onto my side. I closed my eyes until I heard a knock at the door. "Come in." I grumbled. The door creaked open and extra weight was added to my mattress.
"You have been in here all day, how about you come to the dining room and I make you some food." I heard Overlord say. Hmmmmm, food sounds good. "Sure." I sat up and walked past him. I finally found the dining room and sat down.
Candles lit the dark room, and there was a small chandelier above the table. After a couple minutes, the Overlord came out with a plate of food. On the plate was snow pea cuttlefish with a side of fried rice. I took a bite and my taste buds exploded. "Woah, you're a good cook..." I told the Overlord before devouring the meal.
"Why thank you." We sat in silence as I finished eating. "So.... when do you want to have the wedding?" Oh no, the one question that I did not want to hear.
"Maybe next year...." I told him, my voice going quiet. How about never? That sounds good. The Overlord shook his head. "I believe that's a bit too far away." DARN IT! I really wanted to say never, but then I would need to spill the beans. "How about two days from now?" I said, not even thinking.
'Jay what are you doing?!" I don't even know anymore. "Hm sounds good." The Overlord grinned before leaving me alone in the dining room. I put my arms on the table and hid my face in my arms. Ugh great job Jay, you're going to get married to the Overlord in two days.
"Ugh Nya, hope you save me soon...."
Nya's pov
Me and Zane has flown all over Ninjago and found no sign of Jay nor the Overlord. We were now in the birch wood forest, resting. I sat down, leaning against a tree. Zane did the same. Our dragon just laid down in the snow, looking like they were ready to fall asleep.
"Zane, do you think Jay is still alive?" I asked, getting his attention. "I hope so, or then this search would be pointless...." he answered, making me stare at the sky. He was right, the search would be pointless except we could find the Overlord before he gets any of us.
The sky was now becoming darker, making me realize it was almost night. "Zane it's almost night... we need to find shelter." He nodded and started walking. I quickly followed and realized he was leading me to his father's workshop. Almost forgot about it.
We reached it and went inside. "Nya you can take the bed, I'll just be outside on guard." I nodded before he headed outside. I went under the thin blanket and curled up.
"Jay.... we will find you.... I promise....
YAY! LONGER CHAPTER! I NEED TO STOP WORRYING ABOUT HOW LONG THAT THE DARN CHAPTER IS XD
