Jay's pov
I sat on my bed, staring at my closet. There hung my suit for the wedding tomorrow. I groaned at the thought of it. I fell backwards so I ended up on my back on the bed. At that the moment, the door was kicked open. I screamed, thinking that maybe, somehow, Overlord found out the engagement was fake and I meant to ask Nya.
But instead, there stood my savior. "Nya!" I cried out in joy as I ran to her and hugged her. She hugged back and said "Glad to know you're safe...." We stayed in the hug for awhile before Nya finally stopped. "We need to find Zane and escape." Wait, Zane came to the rescue too? Hope he's ok.
As we went out into the hallway, something hit both me and Nya in the backs. Nya was out and I was about to become knocked out as well. A group of stone warriors stood near us, weapon in
hand. Two of them must've kicked us to the ground.
They lifted us and began to carry us. Then my eyes closed and I was out.
Zane's pov
I was in what seemed like an torture chamber, chained to the wall. The Overlord came over, a knife in hand. "Why are you here, white ninja?" I stared at the floor, staying silent. He came close to me and lifted my head so we locked eyes.
"You are here for Jay, aren't you?" Still silent. Pain filled my midriff as he stabbed me there. I bit my lip to keep myself from screaming out in pain. "Talk, or this knife will end up where your power source is." He growled, grabbing the knife and stabbing my chest, right next to where my power source was.
Tears filled my eyes as he pushed it in deeper. He then pulled it out and then stabbed my power source. He then stabbed it deeper, almost where it could hit my power source, causing pain. Tears started to roll down my cheeks. I finally gave in. "Stop! Please, I'll talk. I'll talk...." I cried out.
The Overlord smirked and pulled the knife out. But then the doors flew opened, revealing a group of stone warriors carrying Jay and Nya.
"Oh no...." I mumbled quietly, although the Overlord heard me. He scowled and then stabbed my left eye with his knife. I screamed and feel to my knees when the Overlord walked away from me. "I'm sorry Jay...." I cried out, getting another glare from the Overlord.
"Silence prisoner." He snapped before getting with the stone warriors. He then chained Nya to the wall and carried Jay out of the room. I stared at the floor as pain filled my head. The knife was still in my eye, causing this pain.
"I'm sorry Jay.... we have failed...."
