Chapter Twenty Five

Mark stared at the fresh cuts on his wrist before he pulled his sleeve down, putting on the most convincing fake smile he could manage.
Mark couldn't let Jackson see his wrists. He didn't want to worry him even more.
"Hey, Jack." Mark laughed, his voice shaking a bit- which Jackson heard- as he opened the front door to the younger male.
"Hi," Jackson replied, wrapping his arms around Mark's shoulders.
Mark felt warmth being engulfed in Jackson's arms. Though he was still scared of his step-father walking into the house and Jackson having to witness the horror he was put through.
Jackson's face dropped as he saw Mark's eyes tear up.
"Mark..." He spoke quietly- barely above a whisper. He frowned when Mark refused to answer. "Baby, Mark, answer me, please....I'm worried about you."
Mark avoided eye contact as best he could. There was no way he would show Jackson what he had done to himself.
"Mark," Jackson spoke again, this time more stern making Mark flinch. "Did you do what I think you did?"
Mark looked up- completely horrified. His throat ran dry as he tried to speak "N-no I...I-"
Jackson watched as Mark's gaze once again, dropped to the floor.
Why isn't he telling me what's wrong with him? Jackson wondered, simply thinking of the worst.
He could see the absolute horror on Mark's face when he mentioned him cutting. Maybe he was scared Jackson would yell at him. Maybe he was nervous about him telling his mom.
"I...I..-" Mark continued to stutter, wanting to just disappear.

"Mark," Jackson pressed, lifting Mark's chin so they were now making eye contact. "I'm not gonna yell at you, just tell me the truth, please?"

"I-I...I'm just scared.." Mark confessed, his gaze once again lowering to the floor. "Of what?" Jackson asked, sending a worried look towards him. "Well....everything?"

Jackson was unsure how to answer. Did that mean he was scared of him, too?

Maybe it didn't but maybe it didn't.

"Oh.." This time Jackson's gaze dropped to the floor. Hurt that's how Jackson felt at that very moment. Because what if it was actually the truth? What would that mean?

"No! I didn't mean it like that." Mark exclaimed, his eyes widening once he realized what Jackson was thinking. "Not you- I'm not scared of you. I just- I just- anxiety about-about graduation. And-and college."

Jackson's gaze lifted up slightly, he wasn't completely convinced because it was possible Mark wasn't telling the truth -and he wasn't. The only truth in the sentence Mark just spoke was the fact that he wasn't scared of Jackson. "Are you sure?"

Mark's eyes were filled of uncertainty but he nodded anyways. "Yes," Mark spoke, trying to control the crack in his voice. "I'm sure."

So I sorta left ya'll on a cliff hanger, oops.

But anyways, hallo, I just realized something.

What I realized was that I told you guys (I don't remember which chapter exactly but I'm pretty sure I told you guys in one of the first like fifteen or sixteen chapters, maybe sooner, maybe later)I was gonna put in drama with Jin Young, Mark, Jackson and Jin Young's girlfriend. And I realized I never actually ended up doing it.

And basically the plot with that was that Jin Young and Mark had dated in their past, and had broken up, but the break up wasn't official-official in Jin Young eyes if you get what I mean, but Mark thought it was. And so after Mark stopped showing up at school, Jin Young started visiting him at his home, you know asking why he wasn't coming to school anymore and getting angry at him because Mark would tell him he was transferring.

But I wanted to maybe somehow add that in before I end this book or maybe just like completely forget about the idea. Or maybe publish like a Markson/Markjin story with that exact (maybe not exact, but still) plot.

I don't really know what I wanna do because I just feel like adding that plot in is kinda meaningless since I'm ending this book soon but I dunno, what do you guys think I should do? Add that plot in before I end this book, completely forget about the idea, or publish a Markson/Markjin story with that plot?

Tell me because that'd honestly help me a lot.

Anyways, enough of me rambling (again), hope you all liked the chapter and yeah.
