Chapter Thirty Two

*a few days later*

"I wanna take you somewhere," Jackson smiled, walking into his room where he found Mark sitting on his bed.  Mark furrowed his eyebrows and titled his head. "Where?" He questioned.

"Don't ask questions, just get dressed." Mark pouted at Jackson's answer but got dressed anyways.

As they walked, Mark looked around. "You better not be planning my death right now," he mumbled causing Jackson to laugh out loud.

"Just trust me, please? You'll love it." Jackson smiled, giving Mark's hand a squeeze. "Okay," Mark nodded.

Mark nervously bit his lip as Jackson looked at him. "Don't be nervous," he laughed, pressing a kiss to Mark's forehead.

Mark's heart started to beat faster as they walked towards a bench at a park where he saw Jaebum and Youngjae waving at them.

"He's up to something," Mark thought, a small nervous smile creeping up to his lips.

Jackson was a bit..not himself, to say the least. He wasn't his usual confident self, he seemed more nervous than Mark.

Jackson let go of his hand and walked off with Jaebum somewhere. Mark watched them; eyes filled with question.

"Where are they going?" Mark wonder aloud, causing a laugh to come from his friend. He looked over to meet his friend, who's smile was almost as wide as when Jaebum asked him to marry him.

"You'll see," Youngjae stated shortly, causing Mark to groan. What was going on and why was no one telling about it?

He was a little upset that he wasn't being let in on this big secret, whatever it was but he decided to shrug it off and wait for Jackson to return.

A few minutes passed and Jackson had finally returned. He pulled Mark off to the side, nervously chewing on his bottom lip.

"So. .I've actually been wanting to ask you this for a while..but I've been too scared," Jackson started, sheepishly smiling. Mark was about to ask what it was when he saw Jackson beginning  to get on one knee. His eyes widened, there was no way. He had to be dreaming. "Mark..will you do me the honors and marry me?"

Mark wanted to tackle Jackson but he held himself back and just hugged him tightly. "Took you long enough," he laughed. "But yes, yes I'll fucking marry you."

Jackson smiled, lifting Mark off the ground a bit due to his excitement. When they pulled away, Jackson stared at him, muttering about how much he loved him before Mark cut him off with a kiss.

The kiss they shared was slow and soft- a type of kiss the pair rarely shared together- and Mark definitely had a soft spot for it. It was exactly the type of kiss that made Mark feel very. .warm, you could say. It showed him that Jackson didn't just want to be in the relationship that all consisted of sex, but he had actual, genuine feelings towards him. And they were mutual in that area of the relationship where the feelings they felt towards each were real and genuine. And yeah, it is okay to be afraid that someone doesn't have the same feelings that you have for them as they have for you. But you can't live like that forever. Even though you're scared of rejection, it's better to know how they feel towards you -whether it's the same feelings or different ones- that way you know how they feel towards and it's not hidden in the shadows. And Mark was glad that it didn't have to live like that and he could be happy, for the rest of his life.
