Nineteen

Eunmi's POV

" What happened, Yoongi? " I immediately asked him as he entered the door.I saw Min Na went straight to her room and locked her door as me and Hoseok were comfortably chatting in the living room since we arrived the earliest than the others.

" I don't know "

As Yoongi answered, I quickly stood up and went in front of her door knocking it a few times.

" Yah Min Na-ah, gwenchana? Min Na? "

" What's wrong Eunmi-ah? " I heard Nayoung's voice asking me with a concern look plastered on her face.

" I'm worried about Min Na. She's behaving a bit weird today, don't you think? " I stated and let out a sigh before Nayoung patted my shoulder with a light smile.

" Maybe she's a bit tired with the training. Let's help Mrs. Gong with dinner "

Hyeri's POV

After a silent walk for 10 minutes with Taehyung's arm on my shoulders, we arrived in front of the house. I stopped my pace and removed Taehyung's arm as he was slightly taken aback for a while.

" Kamsahmnida for the help but I think it's enough.Don't want anyone else to see this, right? And mianei for the trouble" I stood in front both of them and smiled a bit at Taehyung.

" Gwenchana Hyeri-ah. You needed our help anyway so why not " Jimin smiled back and ruffled my hair as Taehyung just looked at me. I started to walk slowly and thought about something.

I turned back looking at the boys " Can you guys keep this thing a secret from the girls? Gomawo "

I continued walking before Taehyung spoke making me stopped again for the nth time already " Wae? "

" Because I don't want to make them worried for me again like I always did "

Chaerin's POV

" Hyeri-ah, can you pass me the water? " I said pointing at the water beside her as she gave it to me.

" Why Min Na is not joining us? " Hyeri asked concernly while looking at Eunmi that was sitting beside her. Eunmi just gave her a slight smile and patted her head.

" Don't worry. Maybe she is sick. I'll make sure she eat dinner after this. Now, eat Hyeri-ah. " Eunmi put a chicken meat in Hyeri's plate not wanting her to ask more.

" How's your day today guys? " Seokjin started a conversation since we were a bit quiet during dinner. Min Na and Taehyung wasn't joining us as they refused to eat.

" Good. Except the fact that there were none of the people in the town needed help. It was fun strolling around, right Chaerin? "

I saw Namjoon gave me a wink as I widen my eyes. We just argued instead of looking around for some childish things.

" Aish jinjja this boy! " I muttered and gave him a death glare as he chuckled slowly.

" Ah Hyeri, I was too curious and I need to ask you, can I? " Nayoung suddenly said resulting us to look at Hyeri.

Hyeri scoffed looking at Nayoung disbelief " Since when does Park Nayoung have such manners? Asking for permission to ask-- Ahh"

Eunmi hitted her making her yelp as she rubbed her head and said " And that's why she has so many admirers you know "

" Ani. I have more than her. What is it Nayoung? " she sticked her tongue out naking Eunmi rolled her eyes as some of us chukcled at her childish behaviour

" What did actually Mr. Shin said to you this morning? "

Hyeri's POV

" What did actually Mr. Shin said to you this morning? " Nayoung asked making spoon slipped from my hand suddenly.

Flashback

" Finally, I found you " Mr. Shin said to me as I looked up.

" Follow me " He said as Jimin helped me to stand up. I trailed Mr. Shin as he entered his house slowly before he closed the door.

" You must be curious right now, right? " Mr. Shin gave out a wrinkled smile at me while pulling out something from the drawer near him.

" The thing is, you are a lunatic. "

His word made me tilted my head in confusion. What does he mean by lunatic?

" Aigoo. You don't know what a lunatic is, right? " he said while shooking his head at me as I bowed my head.

" Jeongsahamnida, Mr. Shin "

" You don't need to apologise young one. I guess not all people knew about your kind in this decade " he let out a dry chukcle and looked at me.

" A lunatic is a person who consist more than one power. These kind of person are truly special since they have many bender rather than only one like other people. "

I shook my head and this time it is my turn to let out a dry chuckle " You must be mistaken Mr. Shin. I don't even have a power right now. "

" Young lady, for your information, never in my 100 years of living I am wrong about a lunatic. You just let a fire pass through your body which is the most powerful bender we all know and yet you are still this fine. How can I be wrong now? "

I went silent for a while thinking about Mr. Shin's words. That's right. I didn't feel any pain from the fire.

Suddenly Mr. Shin grabbed my hand. He put something on it before closing my hand.

I opened my hand and saw a beautiful necklace with a turqoise gemstone. It was one of the fascinating things I have ever seen in my life.

" You have to keep this necklace close to you until you receive all powers. " He stated as I was dumbfounded.

" How can I know that I have received all of the powers? "

" You'll know it later. But for the time being, don't let anyone know that you are a lunatic. It might be dangerous because you don't know who is searching for you right now. " He said again while releasing a sigh from his mouth.

" What do you mean by that? " I questioned him. Who is searching who?

" There are some hunters searching for the lunatics since they said that these people can harm anybody with their multiple powers. Lunatics are more powerful than those who have the fire bender as they do not only have fire bender but also other powers in them. I was searching for the lunatics every year when the students from your school come here to train. And this year turns out I am lucky enough to found one. " He smiled as he finish his word. I swear Mr. Shin does love to smile. Maybe that's why he doesn't looked like a 100 years old man.

" You need to be careful with your surrounding from now on. Your friends may protect you from the dangers but one day you will be all by yourself and there is no one who can help you except for yourself. "

That statement somehow made me felt a bit scared to be honest.

" You'll gain your powers one by one. Be patient and remember, don't let anyone know about this. It is for your own sake. "

End of flashback

" Hyeri? "

A finger was snapped in front of me making me realized from my thoughts.

" If you don't want to tell, it's okay. Maybe later on you can share it with us " Jimin said giving me a reasurring smile.

" Mian. " I bowed my head a bit before standing up and went to the kitchen.

I'll promise you guys know it one day.
