Twenty-Four

Eunmi's POV

" This would hurt a bit " I said as I put an antiseptic on Woohyun's back while the others were also gathering in the living room.

His back was quite injured and swollen from the beatings that Hyeri told us a while ago.

" Ahh- it hurts! " He shouted making me flinched. Maybe I rubbed it a bit hard.

" Where did you go actually Hyeri-ah? We were worried to death when Jimin said you were gone you know " Min Na asked Hyeri as she was spacing out.

Again.

We exchanged glances as Hyeri didn't respond to Min Na. Either she doesn't want to talk about it or maybe she is thinking about something.

" I'm glad enough my grandson is now found. Thanks to you kids " Halmeoni said while patting her grandson's head as we all smiled at her.

" We promised you that we will help you, halmeoni. " Chaerin stated as the others nodded agreeing with her.

" Halmeoni, it's time to take your medicine now! " Mrs. Gong shouted from the kitchen. Yesterday Yoongi and Namjoon brought halmeoni to the clinic as she had quite a fever as she was too worried about Woohyun.

" I'll accompany her for a while " Nayoung volunteered and brought halmeoni away leaving us in the living room. Jimin excused himself as Seokjin and Namjoon went out to buy some things for Mrs. Gong.

" And we are done " I put away the cotton bud and the antiseptic as I finished treating him.

" You cannot move much or the wounds on your back will be difficult to heal " I said again while grabbing the first aid kit box on the floor.

I looked up and saw Hoseok was looking at me as he was sitting a bit far from me. I don't know why but I immediately looked away realising he was staring.

" I'll go outside for a while " Hyeri suddenly stood up and went out looking worried.

I wonder what is she worrying about.

Hyeri's POV

" I'll go outside for a while " I stated not wanting them to be worried like today.

I felt guilty enough seeing those wounds on Woohyun's back.

It's all my fault. Great job Hyeri. You just hurted a person who was protecting you.

I saw Jimin standing near the stairs with his back facing me. I realised that I didn't talk to him since I was gone from his sight.

" Jimin "

No response.

" Yah, Jimin "

Still no response given by him.

" Is he mad at me? " I muttered slowly and decided to go back to my room until he grabbed my wrist making me face him as he grabbed both of my shoulders.

" Did you know how worried I was? "

I was about to say something until he continued as his brown eyes were starring softly into mine.

" Did you know how scared I was? "

I tried to let out myself from his grip but he won't let go as he gripped stronger making me felt pain. Not to mention his face was too near with mine.

" I thought I had lost you already " He muttered under his breath as I looked up and saw his teary eyes.

He is crying.

My eyes widen seeing him as he was still staring at me until someone called my name.

The door was slowly opened as Jimin finally let go of me. It was Min Na who was searching for me and immediately Jimin went into the house leaving us two.

" Why are you outside? Let's get in. It's getting cold here. " She pulled me in as I only flashed her a smile not wanting her to worry about me.

" Who are you going to sleep with tonight? " Min Na asked concernly while closing the door and dragged me to the living room. The girls had already went to their rooms. Leaving Woohyun, Taehyung and Jungkook in the living room chatting.

I sat on the sofa beside Woohyun and held her hand, " Can I sleep with you again? "

Min Na nodded and patted my head " If you felt sleepy enough then come to my room, okay? "

I think everytime I post new chapters, I will eventually apologize for the late update. I mean, I really update this when I got no school and no homeworks to do.
