Chapter 10

"Hey, Ryder. We gotta get up." A soft voice cooed in my ear. I opened my eyes to see Lisa sitting on my stomach, her hands softly laid on my chest.

"Oh, hey you." I smiled, my voice was groggily and scratchy. "Goodnight." I closed my eyes and tried to fall back asleep.

"Oh come on Ryder. It's just a few hours. Then we can come back and sleep." She said, running her hand trough my hair.

"But so much has to happen in those few hours."

"I know, and I know it's gonna be a hard day, but after it's all done, we can grab food and just spend the night watching movies. How does that sound?" I popped open one eye and wrapped my arms around her, pulling her down to me.

"Fine. I'll get up, but just for your information, I don't want to." I let her get up and got up myself.

"I know little baby. Come on and get dressed, we gotta get to Mr.Maxwells room early."

"Lisa, please don't make me."

"Don't worry Ryder. I'll be there for you the entire time."

"Promise?"

"I promise. I'd never let you do this alone."

"Thanks, really." I smile at her, pulling her close and holding her tight.

"Okay, time to get ready now." She ruffles my hair and walks into the restroom to change. I throw on some ripped, whitewashed jeans and a dark grey v-neck. I slid on some black yeezys and a black hat before Lisa walked out of the bathroom, still in her panama.

"Lisa, what the hell? I had time to change completely, while you used the bathroom."

"I was doing my makeup." She smiled.

"Why? You don't need makeup."

"Awe, you're too sweet, now let me get dressed."

"Jesus Christ woman." I groan before walking into the hallway. "This is my room for gods sake." I heard her slam the door behind me as I slouched on the wall, scrolling through Instagram. I waited a few minutes until the door clicked and opened, my jaw dropping when I looked up. "Holy shit, you, you uhh, look-" I cut myself off before I made a fool of myself. She was in skin tight jeans and a ripped pink hoodie, her hair curled perfectly. "Wow." I smirk at her. "You look well."

"Why thank you. Now let's go."

"My bike?"

"No way, I don't trust you on that death trap." She scoffs, grabbing her keys and book bag. "Ready?"

"Let's go." I smile, grabbing her open hand. She blushed a little and walked to her car with me. She drove to the school and pulled into an open spot. I caught sight of Halton, smoking by his bike.

"Wassup man." I smiled at him, grabbing his hand and shaking it. I immediately returned my hand to Lisa's.

"So, I see you did the dare." He laughed, motioning to our linked hands. I widened my eyes as my heart sank.

"Dare? Excuse me?" She yanked her hand from mine and stepped in front of me, crossing her arms over her chest.

"No no no, you have this all wrong Lisa. I-"

"You what Ryder?! You tricked me?! You used me?! You made me trust you?! You lied to me!? What did you do?!" She shoved me back a little. I could see the tears building up in her eyes.

Fuck fuck fuck! This wasn't supposed to happen!

"No Lisa! I wasn't lying! You do-"

"Save your bull shit Ryder! Save it! Because I don't want to hear it! I cared about you and you went behind my back and tricked me! I chose to trust you after you publicly humiliated me! I lost all my friends because of you! But do I complain about it?! No! Because I needed to be strong for you! I needed to be there for your dumbass who can't lock a damn door!" I froze right then and there.
