Parker's POV

I dragged, latterly dragged Jack into my office. He was fuming with anger now because I had locked him in.

"What the hell Parker" Gunshots went off in the main hall.

"She wont kill in front of you" grabbing his shirt roughly, pinning him agents the wall. "She is part of our family too. One of them was harmed so she's taking care of it"

Silence filled the room as I stared back at her.

"Don't make this harder on her than it already is!"

Max's POV

Two inches away from any harm to his body. Two shots there. He screamed bloody murder, but I guess that would be correct since this was clearly murder. Bone and Chuck held his arms away from him.

"Flower just put him out of his misery" Spark leaned agents a bar stool grinning.

"He deserves more. More than two bullets and a broken hand" Looking at him I wiped blood off my hands.

"Don't have to much fun. Don't want you to lose reality" whimpering came from the poor mans curled body.

"Fine" pulling out a knife I held the blade in my hand. "Finish him yourself Sparky"

"With pleasure"

Seconds after the body dropped, lifeless, onto the tiled floor, Jack came running to me.

"I'm going to the police Max" he took my hand.

He began to walk but I held my ground staying by Spark.

"Jack maybe you can but they will find out that I'm a killer" spark breaths escaped my mouth, not knowing I had been holding my breath.

"No they wont-" he stuttered.

"Yes they will. I am staying here." With a tug my hand was freed of his.

"Max-"

"Enough" turning and walking away. "I'm going with Spark on a run ill be home later to get my things"

"This the life you want?" Jack growled

"It's the life I have" I smiled "Even if you don't like it"

"Alright. This life or home. Choose Max!"
