(A little spin on things. You guys might hate me at first, but please dont)

You were sitting at home looking through magazines with sabrina waiting for the okay from chloe. You were childhood friends with chloe and adrien. Your mother was a famous modle from Gabriel's fashion line. You havent spoken much to Adrien since his mothers been gone. But chloe still drags you around. You have no one else. Shes all youve ever known.

Your phone starts to go off. "Hello?" "(Y/n), sabrina, i have the invatations printed. Im on my way over. Remember, you can only invite two people each. And they better not be lame. Mariloser is right out and her geeky reporter friend. So is that loser nino." "Um, but chloe. Nino is adrien's friend. Shouldnt we invite him for adrien?" "Sabrina, do you want to ruin my party?" "Sorry chloe" you sigh. "So, no mari, not alya and no nino?" "Yes. No losers." She hung up and you flop onto your bed. "Why do we follow her?" "Cuz she has the best hats" you roll your eyes.

The next day at school chloe gives you three invitations. "These are for you. Hand them out as you please. Except for losers." You nod and she goes to her seat. You take your own seat and hide your face in your arms. You look up to see sabrina giving two invitations to rose and juleka.  You roll your eyes. You dont really know anyone else, so you just throw two at max and kim. They turn to you, and you wink at kim, "get your girl" he blushes a little and turns then you gag after.  You look down at the invitation ment for you. You dont even pay attention to class and before you know it, the class is over.

You stand up and walk down the steps to leave the class. You trip on someone's bag and fall down the rest of the steps. You hear people laugh and you see chloe roll her eyes. She walks up to you and sticks out her hand. You reach out and she slaps your hand. "Not your hand, your invitation you embarrasment." You blush and hand the last invitation to her. She walks away laughing and sabrina doesnt look back. When everyone's gone you start to get up.

Once you stand up you see a small blur of red. "Um... sorry..." youre shocked. "What?" you back up shocked that someone is appologizing to you. "You tripped on my bag." You recognized him. Chloe always called him loser artist for always drawing. It always got him in trouble. You look down. "Its okay. I should have been looking where i was going." He nods. When he walks by you, you see his beautiful eyes. "Um, im sorry." He looks at you confused. "For what?" You look down. "For always ignoring you and for not even k owing your real name." He smiles a little. "Nathaniel. But my friends call me nathan." You look up and smile.

He offers his hand. "Um, im guessing youre kinda alone now?" You blush and nod. "Then come on. We have better party, where everyone is invited." You smile and walk with him. "Theres also rumor that ladybug and chat noir are coming." You start to feel excited but then you calm down. "Chloe tried to hire them to come to her party. But they refused." He shakes his head. "Money isnt everything. They can tell true nature. Mari and adrien invited them. They said theyd think about it." You start to laugh and walk with him. "Where is this party?" He links arms with you. "I'll take you there"

You arrive at adrien's house. "Are you sure? I....i havent been here in years. Are you sure i can go?" He laughs. "Yea, its fine. Its a christmas party. It wouldnt be very much in the christmas spirit if we didnt allow everyone." You look away. "Every year, chloe only invites a few people. This is the first year i wasnt invited." He steps in front of you. "Well then. You'll fit in here just fine. None of us were ever invited. Minus Adrien, but he never goes." You nod as he leads you inside. You still feel awkward and pull on the sleeves of your jacket.

When you enter the house its filled with your classmates you try to hide behind nathaniel. "Nath! " marinette runs up and hugs him. He smiles and hugs back. She looks at you confused then smiles. "Hi (y/n), welcome. How are you?" She releases his hug and hugs you. Your eyes widen as you look to nathaniel and he smiles. "Hi....M-marinette." She lets go of you and takes your hands. "Im so sorry about what happened today. Rose told me." You blush embarrassed. "I'm fine. Im used to chloe's mood swings." Adrien walks over shocked. "Whoah! (Y/n), been a while!" He hugs you with you one arm. "H-hi." They go back to the party, but nathaniel stayed with you. "Um, you go enjoy the party. I just want to look around at the decorations." He nods and walks away. You quickly run back outside and sit behind one of the pillars on the front steps.

You hug your knees to your chest as you sit in the snow. You shake, from the cold and from fighting the tears. You didnt understand. You were rude. You ignored most of them. You only knew the names of like six people in there. The rest you had helped chloe hurt. Why were they so accepting. You didnt understand. As you sit there shaking you see Mari sneek outside. You quickly stand up. "M-m-mari. W-where you going?" she turns and sees you, eyes wide. "Oh. (Y/n). Im going to get some baked goods from my house. I'll be...... why are you outside? And you look nearly frozen?" She runs back up to you and hugs you trying to warm you up. "Hey, go back inside, i'll also bring back some hot coacoa. Alright? Just stay warm." You nod and hug back as she walks you inside.  She brings you to a couch and takes your coat. "Warm up. I'll be right back." She leaves and you feel like everyone is staring at you. You hug your sides and you feel someone sit down next to you. You look next to you and see nathan. "Why are you sitting here al- oh my god." He places his hand on your cheek, his hand feels so warm cuz of how cold you are. It sends a shiver down your spine and you close your eyes. "(Y/n), you are freezing. Come on." He takes your hands and walks you over to adrien. "Hey, do you have any hot chocolate?" He nods and points to a snack table. You get there and nathan pours you a cup of hot chocolate. He even adds marshmellows and whipped cream on top. "Thank you nathaniel." He smiles as  you took it. "Remember, friends call me nathan. " you blush and look into the cup. "I remember." He smiles at you, and places his hand on your cheek again. "Then why didnt you say nathan?" You blush more and pull away. "Thank you. For the coacoa." You turn and walk away, then you hear people cheer. You look and see ladybug and chat noir entering the place. You quickly go into the next room using them as a distraction for the time being.

You look for your coat. You see a pile of coats in the room, you start to search for your own. Once you find it, you put it on.  You take another sip of your coacoa and go back to the room to leave. You see people still cheering, and ladybug and cat noir are at the front door. You see nino. "Whats going on?" Alya is having a field day with her phone. "Theyre under mistiletoe!" Chat noir winks and dips ladybug with a squeek, and pecks her on the cheek and leaves laughing with her chasing him angerily. You push your way to the door and when you get there you hear someone call your name. "(Y/n)! Wait! Are you leaving? Let me walk you home." You shake your head hoping no one sees you with him under the mistletoe. "Im fi-" "look! Nathan and (y/n) are under the mistletoe!" Shoot. Now youre stuck. You see him getting red and looking away. "Guys. No." He looks at our classmates. You run out the door to go home.

You get down the street and hear someone call your name. You stop and turn only to slide and fall on the ice. Who ever was calling you, ran to you and slipped too when they tried to stop. You hear them laugh, which makes you realize its nathaniel. "Nathaniel, why did you follow me? " he places his warm hands on the sides of your face and pulled you close. You felt soft warm lips press against your own. When he backs up, he smiles. "Two reasons. One, i want you to call me nathan. Two, you ran out on mistletoe." He blushes and you hug him close. Confused about why he cared, but happy all the same.
