Your eyes

(sorry I haven't been on for a while. I've been working through some life problems)

You sit up in your bed, and look out the window. Every once in a while the sky would be a dull grey in your eyes. The same for water or some dresses you would see at school events. It's been this way ever since you could remember. You can't see what ever color that is. People tell you it's teal, but since you have never seen that color, that has no meaning to you.

You get up out if bed and roll out of (f/c) sheets onto soft green carpet. You look into your mirror at yourself. Your hair tossed all over the place and in an over-sized  red shirt and black shorts that could barely be seen. You pull out a hair brush and start running it through your crazy hair. You attempt to look into the mirror and smile, but it just makes you look scary. You sigh as you as look through your clothes to find something suitable to wear.

You pull  out a shirt and to you, it looks grey, but your mother says its her favorite color before she saw your father's eyes. She says you have his eyes. the same beautiful hues as his eyes. She also noticed you cant see the color, so she's kept a look out for anyone with those eyes. You told her to stop but you can tell shes still looking for you. You appreciate the gesture but you wanna find your soul mate on your own.

You head downstairs and eat your breakfast. Your cup filled with the usual grey water, and the news station it's usual grey hue. You sigh as you finish your last bite of breakfast.

"Have fun at school hun. New year, it'll be better. I promise." You nod and grab your back pack as ready as you can be.

When you arrive at school you hear all the students talking about their summer breaks. How some found their soul mates on vacation, how the world is so much better with this new color or, "so that's how that looks, never imagined this would look like this." So on, so forth.

You go to your classroom, not wanting to have the same conversation. "Oh no, I am still forever alone. Yes I'm the only one left in our school to find the special someone. No I don't need you to set me up with somebody." You groan and put your head down once you sit in your seat.

"Well look is here!" You groan more. "If it miss no mate herself? Find that someone yet? Or does the universe itself not even want you?" You hear her laugh and the small awkward laugh of her only friend. You look up to see Sabrina and Chloe.

Chloe picks on everyone for anything she can, even though she herself hasn't found her soul mate yet, she probably has a better chance of finding them. After all, she's the mayor's daughter. She can easily just hold parties and invite anyone she wants to meet everyone and see them. Though she's dead set on saying she couldn't see green before she met Adrien. So that's why she's been able to see green for so long. But he hadn't been able to seek blue until last year, so obviously that puts a damper on her theory.

"Leave me alone Chloe. Yes I'm still alone." You pick up your head and look out the window at the people walking down the hallway. Looking in their eyes, hoping to see one different color. To see what all the excitement over teal is. Your thoughts are interrupted by the harsh laugh.

"Of course you are. I feel bad for who ever gets put with you. I bet they saw your eyes before you saw theirs. They thought you were so ugly they're purposefully avoiding you!" She walked away to her own seat and you roll your eyes. You snap out of your annoyance when you hear a crash from the hallway. A teacher rushes to a boy who fell on the ground.

"What happened?" You ask Marinette who is sitting closest to the window.

"Well, he was walking then all of sudden ran into a pole. Guessing he just saw the eyes of his soul mate or something."
