Fire fox

(Over done, but hey, I got an idea, so ima write it!)

You were sitting in your room staring at the ladyblog. You've been watching this video for the passed hour.

About a month ago, Paris's dream team gained a new member. His fiery hair blows in the breeze like an actual fire. His movements had you mesmerized the first time you saw him.

As you sit watching you forget about your friend coming over, so jump when you feel breath on your neck. You fell out of your chair and hear soft laughing. You look up at Nathaniel and glare.

"That was not funny!" He offers a hand which you gladly take and he pulls you up. "Why didn't you tell me you here?"

"I did. Your mom even yelled for you. So I just let myself up. Called your name once then blew cuz I knew it gets you to freak out." He chuckles more as you pout and your face goes pink with embarrassment.

"Still. It wasn't nice." You go to turn off your computer. "So, how long have you been in here?"

"Long enough to see you sighing over Paris's new hero. Got a bit of a celebrity crush, huh?" You blush more but don't look at him so he can't pick on you.

"What of it? Lots of the guys have crushes on Ladybug. So why is t so wrong to like Fire Fox." You turn back and glare at him after the embarrassment fades a little.

"I never said anything was wrong with it." You notice a bit of pink on his face, but could easily be the light reflecting off his hair. "I was just kidding. Do you really?"

"Jerk." You shove him and you both end up falling into your bed so you keep hitting his chest as you have him pinned down.

"Ow. Owww. Okay. Okay, I'm sorry. Can you. Ow. Stop now?" He grabs hold of your hands and looks up at you. "I said sorry." You stuck out your tongue and stand up.

"Fine, I'll forget about it for now. But I'm not forgiving you just yet. It was mean." You sit next to him on the bed. "But to answer your question, yes. And not because he's a hero, like practically every other fan girl he has." Nath sits up and looks at you telling you to explain. "Well, he's got a sort of, charming, air to him. Like, Chat Noir, he's a gentleman but a flirt. Fire Fox is a gentleman and just sweet. No flirting just honest care." You hear him chuckle and you realize you sighed. "Oh shut. How would you feel if I asked you t defend your crush on Marinette?"

"At least I actually know Marinette. And I no longer have a crush on her." You snap your attention to him. "Please don't ask. At least not today. I think there's someone else but I'm not quite sure. It's a mess." You nod and poke his side causing him to jump.

"I won't ask, as long as you don't ask anymore on Fire Fox." You sigh and flop down. Wouldn't it be amazing to meet him? well any of them, naturally. Ya know?" He lays down with you and chuckles.

"Yea I guess. It would be kinda cool to meet them for the first time. How do you think Fire Fox felt first meeting them?" You can hear a strange twist in his voice. Like he's still teasing you but also curious. "Meeting a hero and finding out he's one too. Must have taken him a while to get used to it."

"Are you kidding? He was a natural from the start! Caring, strong and brave. He helped the people more while lady bug and chat noir took care of the akuma. In my opinion I'd imagine it's much easier knowing someone's taking care of the people while you're fighting. That way you can focus more on the fight so it gets done faster." You smile to yourself. "I wonder if I'll ever need his help."

"You shouldn't ask for that. That means that you'd have to be in danger in the first place." He looks at you, worry clearly filling his eyes. You sigh and stand up.

"I won't go searching for trouble. But I make no promises that it won't find me." You giggle as he digs and shakes his head. "Hey Nath? Thanks for always caring about me." He looks up at you from your bed and smiles.

"Of course. Why wouldn't I care about you?"

"Well, because of th-"

You got interrupted by a scream. You run to the window, but it shatters. Nathaniel quickly pulls you away. You let out your own mini scream.

If he's blocking me from the glass, does that mean?

You look back at him, but sigh in relief as he has a blanket over him to help block the shards.

"Are you okay? Did any-"

"Go down to your mom. Make sure she's okay." You don't feel right about leaving him there, but you can tell he doesn't want to worry you.

You run down the stairs to find your mom huddled under the dining room table.

"Y/N!" She called as she reached a hand out. "It's like they have a violent wind following them. Almost like they are a tornado them self." You kneel down next to your mom.

"If that's the case I have to go get Nathaniel. I left him up there to deal with the broken glass." You let go of your mom's hand and run to your room. At first you wore cuz you don't see him, but at least there are no blood stains on the floor or the blanket, so you know he's okay. You call out to him but don't hear him. Instead you hear you mother call again. You run down worried she's in trouble.

"Mom!" You gasp to see him. Fire Fox, right in your dining room.

"It's okay. I'm here to help you. We need to get you out of here safe from harms way." He offers his hand, you were about to accept it, but then you remember Nathaniel.

"No! There's one more person here! I can't find him he's my best friend!" Fire just smiles calmly and takes your hand.

"I saw him through the window as I passed. He warned me about a very precious girl in the building." You blush a little, then he smirks. "And he daughter of course." Which caused your mom to laugh and you to smile.

"So he's okay? None of the glass touched him?"

"Some how. What's your blanket made of?" You shrug. " alright well, we have to go. Come on." He pulls you and your mother down the street to a building with other people huddled and a few hurt getting attention. You look back at him and he brushes your hair behind your ear. "Stay sage here you understand? The battle should be over soon." At that he runs off to help the dream team as all the people are safe.

"Mom, I'm going to look for Nathaniel."

"But he said to stay here."

"I know, I'm just checking the rest of the building. He has to be here mom!" You start to run and as soon as you reach the hallway leading to other rooms the outside is covered in pink ladybugs cleaning up the city. You sigh and smile knowing everything safe now. Then you hear foot steps running up to you. It's Fire Fox again and everything finally hits you now that it's all calm.

He talked to me, he called my mom precious, he held my hand. He touched my hair.

You feel your face heat up. You smile at him and bite your lip. "Hi." You day as he just shakes his head.

"Hello. You should probably go back home. Your friend might be waiting. It was a pleasure meeting you." He bows and turns but you grab his hand.

"I-I sorry. I just. I. I um." She chuckles and you swear you've heard that laugh before, but you brush it away as he looks into your (e/c) eyes.

"You want an autograph or something?" You nod slowly in a trance by turquoise.  He just chuckles again. "I can do ya one better." You snap out of your trance as you notice he's waving your phone in your face.

"What? When did you-"

Click.

He had kissed you cheek and taken the picture with your phone.

"Us foxes are very sly. Gotta keep up to keep us." He winks and runs off. You hold your cheek where he kissed you. You can still feel his lips and the heat coming off of your face. You look down at your phone now back in your hand. That sneaky fox saved it as your lock screen. You smile and decide to keep it.

After all, it's one better than an autograph.
