Chapter four: Suck Up

I looked around and saw that almost everyone in my New Year group was standing around me. They must have seen what I just did. Out of the corner of my eye I could see Daniel. He had such a smirk on his face looking up and down at me. Oh he's in for one and lunch, I thought to myself. He's not getting away with this!

The man froze a moment, and then came back to life instantaneously. "Ah you must be Alex Terry. My name is Mr Davis; I'm the Head Master of Willton High. Believe it or not but your father has just been on the phone to me. He was worried sick because you had not answered his texts or calls. I was about to come find you. One of our year 11s saw you before school and came and told me. "the Head Masters tone dropped and he smiled at me waiting for a reaction. He was still unaware of the state of his suite.

Omg, I bet it was Daniel. Ugh he has ruined this all for me "Oh yeah, well uhm I turned my phone off because I'm in school" I said anxiously. Alex why did you do that? Well done you spaz.

"That's quite alright, follow me and I'll take you to your first lesson." Mr Davis said kneeling down to help me pick up my texts books, which were completely ruined because of my stupid accident.

Everyone was still standing around watching like it was some sort of murder scene. Of course Madison was there. How cliché, and of course she would come over and say something to me.
"Aw no Alex what happened!? Are you alright?" She said this she grabbed my arm and helped me up gave a very sarcastic smile.

"Madison that is very helpful and kind of you" Mr Davis said with not a clue in the world at how much of a bitch she is.

"That's alright Head Master, wouldn't want Alex feeling unwelcome on her first day at Willton High would we now" she said with such a bitchy voice. By the time my anger was off the scale and I just wanted to lash out and give her a piece of my mind. But 'she's so helpful and kind' she then continued to speak with her little screeching voice "I can take Alex to her first lesson if you would like sir. I saw her timetable in her planner and we have the same Literature class together with Mrs Jones"

Ohh now you've done it. I was standing between the two as they make the decisions for me. As I was about to 'kindly' say no thank you, Mr Davis butted in.

"Madison that would be so helpful of you" my eyes met hers quickly, "Madison will take you to your first lesson for today Alex, so you won't get lost." My eyes went to roll out of my head but then I saw Madison's face. She was still smiling at me so I returned the favour with a very sour and sarcastic tone voice.

"That would be great. Thanks Madison." I had to bite my tongue when I said that otherwise I was going to throw up.
