In the distance I could see a school board with the words "Willton High Private School" on it with the school logo which was basically a pretty shaped key. The colour uniform was a dark green blazer, with a black skirt for girls and black trousers for boys. The tie is a mixture of green, white and yellow. A nice combination of colours if you ask me.
As we all got off the school bus, everyone was escorted to the main entrance by older students in Year 11. Of course I had nobody to walk with. So I pondered at the back of the group. There were younger students scattering around the school yard, the bell had four more minutes until the start of the day.
One of the older and more jockey typed guy stepped up onto a wall and waved for us to all pay attention. He was tall with brown hair. Pretty damn gorgeous in my opinion. Probably in Year 11. His blazer sleeves were rolled up, and his tie was loose as well as his shirt. Not looking to shabby I must say.
"So the start of year 10, a pretty good year. Well listen up. There are a few rules you need to abide by if you want to survive here for your last years" his voice was so calming yet firm. I looked at him puzzled. He looked so nice, yet his voice conflicted that. This isn't some sort of hunger games style shit mate. I just need to stay here a few years and then I'm done, I thought to myself. The guy continued
"There are stereotypes you want to watch out for Jocks, Cheerleaders, Suffering Artists, Goths, nerds, teacher's pets and finally nobody's. Nobody wants to be a nobody" As he said this, mine and his eyes locked eyes. I sharply cast my fixed eyes off him and looked elsewhere.
"My names Daniel by the way, but you can call me Dan" as he said this he looked back over to me and gave a little smirk. I looked back and thought did be really do that to me? But I wasn't complaining.
He then back flipped of the wall and perfectly landed it. He received all the cheers from the girls, including Madison and clapping. I think someone's trying a little too hard to impress here. I gave a smile to myself before being confronted by the guy on the wall.
"I couldn't help myself but asking, but why did you keep smiling at me there?" He said with a slight smirk on his face.
"I think you'll find that you were the one who was smiling at me" I turned away and started to walk towards the front of the building. I felt a warm and firm grip around my wrist, as he did this I turned my head around as if it were a titanic scene.
"Yes?" I asked politely said, even though I should have been more forceful for him to let go of my hand.
"Wew, you were going to go off and not tell me your name? Let me guess... Is it Angel, because you look like one?"
Omg, no he hasn't just done that pick up line, I know I'm Christian but jez man."It's Alex actually, and by the way angel face, your fly's undone" I was fully aware that it was not. But he finally let go of my wrist; that he still had a hold of and he went to check his zipper. By this time I was already half way up the stairs and about to go into the doors when I heard a "You got me Alex" from Daniel. I replied with "Guess I did Dan" and gave him a little coy shoulder flick and a wink. Which was obviously me flirting back with him.
