Neither of them knew how long they have been like this. Time seemed to stand still for them. Anne very softely, cupped Tintin's face in her right hand as if she was trying to pull him closer. Tintin pulled her tigher to him when they heard a cough behind. They separated, faces flushed red, from being caught and what just happened.

They turned to see Liuentant Delcourt smirking at the door. Anne hid her face in Tintin's shoulder while he scratched the back of his neck.

"If you are ready, we can go see your friend, Captain Haddock," the Liuentant said, giving them a little nod to them.

Anne felt her face heat up and pulled away from Tintin, turning away from as he did the same.

"So, let's go see how Haddock is doing," Anne said, heading out the door. Tintin nodded and followed her. The Lieuentant walked with them with Snowy following behind them. He explained Haddock's condition to them while Tintin kept saying that he is sober and that is the reason for his behavior.  But the Lieuentant kept talking causing Anne to roll her eyes at him.

They open the door and Haddock was well and sitting up, drinking a glass of water. He seemed to be the opposite of his druken verison of himself. And this concerned Tintin and Anne. They looked at each other with confusion written on both of thier faces. Snow walked in sniffing at everything.

"Captian?" Tintin asked, leaving Anne at the door.

"Hello, I think you've got the wrong room," he said.

"Captain, it's Tintin and Anne. Our plane crushed in the desert," Tintin said.

"Don't you remember?" Anne asked from her spot.

Tintin looked back at her quickly, then looked back at Haddock who gave a concern look at the young man.

" Plane? No,no I'm a naval man myself. Never fly if I can help it. What is this perculiar liquid? There's no bouquent, it's complently transparent," Haddock said, while holding the glass as if it was wine and he was at a wine tasting.

Anne was looking around trying to figure out a way to get Haddock to remember what happened, it was until Snowy switched the pitcher of water with a pitcher of alchol. Haddock grabbed it and drank from him.

Tintin, in a state of shock of what happened, looked at the sea captain then realized what is about to happened. Anne looked over and her eyes widened at the sight, going to Tintin's side to pull him away a bit.

"I'd stand back if I were you," they both said at the same time as everyone was in a hurry to get out of the room.

Tintin had his arm around Anne's waist in case he needed to pull her away from the madness that was happening .

Haddock had jumped out of bed ( literally), burst through the wooden door, grabbed a sword from some unknown solider and swang it around as if he was Sir Francis Haddock.

"Show yourself Red Reckham!" he yelled.

Tintin was trying to get Haddock to calm down, to see some sense, but Anne could that they need to let the vision run it's course and that will help Haddock. It wasn't until that Haddock stood on the desk and a fan fall onto him was when he came to.

The soliders pointed their rifles at Haddock in which the pair stood infront and told them to stop. Tintin was able to get Haddock to tell the rest of the story. It was told as if he was there himself.

Sir Francis had been captured and forced to show Red Reckham the gold that they had in turn to save his men. However, they killed the men anyway and left Sir Francis alive to be an example for those  who goes against them. But Sir Francis had a knife hidden in his hat and was able to escape his bounds.

At this point, Haddock had attempted to take another drink, saying that is what his ancestor did but Tinin stopped him and convienced him to put down the bottle and countinue the story. This cause Haddock to think of what happened next before picking up the sword again. Anne pulled Tintin back.

Sir Francis had gotten the gunpowder and spread it around the ship. Red Reckham caught him and this started a sword fight between them, and a fight to the spark alive. Sir Francis had won as he had stabbed Red Reckham and the ship blew.

Sir Francis had escaped and this was when Haddock had realized something. At one point Tintin and Anne were seperate. A solider was standing between her and the men when Haddock grabbed Tintin who was holding onto a table leg and ran out of the window. Anne screamed in surpise and had ran to the window. They were safe as they landed on some hay and seemed to be ok. She sighed and went down to them.

By the time she got there, they were climbing out of the hay and she ran to Tintin and hugged him. He wrapped his arms around her, but before he could tighten them, she slipped away with her face red, the kiss running through her mind. Tintin remembered as well and he went red. Haddock stared at them both and laughed at himself at the sight.

"Where to next?" Anne asked.
