Tintin and Anne

Chapter 10

The captain became cold as the day went on. Tintin , Anne and Snowy we're still asleep. With Tintin somehow wrapping his arm around Anne's waist and his other hand in the ocean dragging as the boat was moving slowly forward.
Haddock rubbed his hands in attempt to keep warm.
He than realized he was thirsty , so he went to look for water. Instead he found a bottle of alcohol and decided to drink it.

Anne woke up slowly,feeling Tintin's arm around her waist. She blushed and tried to move his arm without waking him. Then she smelled the smoke. She turned around and her eyes wided at the sight. Haddock had bulit a fire...... on the boat.

" Tintin, Tintin wake up," she cried, shaking him by the shoulder. It only took him a minute to wake up. As soon as he did, he noticed the smell of smoke and woke to see a fire. He sat up, making sure he doesn't tip the boat over. Anne sat down and held onto the boat.

"Haddock, what have you done?" Tintine asked, pointing at the fire.

"You look a little cold, even though I think you two were keeping each other warm, so I bulit a wee fire," Haddock said.

"In the middle of the boat!" Tintin and Anne exclaimed, blushes showing on thier face from Haddock's comment.

Tintin and Anne were trying to put out the fire, while Tintin was trying to get Haddock to help.

Haddock's way to help was to pour alchol on the fire. This caused an explosion and Haddock to shout ,"Blistering Typhoons!"

A few minutes later

Tintin,Anne who was holding Snowy, and Haddock were sitting on the boat that was turned over.

Tintin and Haddock were complaining about the situation and Haddock was mostly calling himself an idiot.

"Alright enough! Fudge, and I thought Nelson was the worst," Anne said.

Tintin looked at her in surpise at her outburst.

"Whose Nelson?" Haddock asked.

" A Co-Worker when I worked at the bakery. And he was annoying ."

Haddock then tells them that the reason why he drinks . He felt that he could never be like Sir Francis Haddock. This cause Tintin and Anne to roll thier eyes alittle, as if they had heard this excuse before.

But soon they heard the sound of a plane coming near. The pair turned around and saw a plane coming near . Tintin then asked ," where  was the karaboujan registered at ?"
Haddock turned around and started the praise the heavens until they were shot at . Then Haddock started the yell at them.
Anne grabbed snowy in her arms and Tintin covered them both . He grabbed the gun out and checked how much bullets left .
" I got bad news Captain we only have one bullet," Tintin announced .
" What's the good news ?" Haddock asked, sounding scared.
" we got one bullet."
Anne held her breathe as Tintin shot at the plane. He hit the plane causing it to go down but not sink.
Haddock fell off the boat while Tintin jumped out. Anne didn't go do to her ankle but made sure she was low enough in case they started the shoot.
Tintin told them to stay where they are and promise to come back. Anne nodded at him , trusting him enough to come back. He grabbed her hand and squeezed. Snowy jumped out of Anne's arms and into the water in attempt to follow his master but Haddock grabbed the dog.
It wasn't a long time until Tintin got the plane and made sure that his companions got to the plane as well.
Tintin sat on the pilot seat and started the read the booklet on how to operate the plane.
" Are you sure you can pilot a plane ?" Haddock asked.
" I interviewed a pilot once ," Tintin answered.
" Tintin there is a difference of learning to fly and interviewing a pilot on how to fly! Plus that pilot was no help at all as he kept avoiding your questions," Anne pointed out .
Tintin looked back at her and smirked.
" fine fly the plane. Just if you kill me , I'm haunting you !"
" I would not dream of doing so dear ," he said .
' He called me dear . That's new,' Anne thought .
It was a rough start but it was a smooth sailing from there. They even past the shop but to only to end up going into a storm.
Anne ended up covering her ears and closing her eyes to notice anything that was going on. Tintin kept his focus on the plane, even though he was worrying about Anne and her fear of thunder. As long as he known her, she has always hated storms . She said that she was left outside during one and no one noticed until it was over.
Haddock noticed a bottle of medical alcohol and reached out to get it but Tintin told him no and slapped his hand. Haddock obeyed at first but then the plane dipped , he grabbed it and started to drink from it.  However due to another dip and Hong up again , it cause the alcohol to float . Haddock was trying to drink from it but Snowy gulped it. The second time it happens , Haddock held Snowy's tongue between his finger and slurped it.
Suddenly the alarms went off , indicting that something that something was wrong .
Anne uncovered her ears and opened her eyes to see what was wrong . It was the gas as they were running out of it . Anne crawled over, careful to not hurt herself and not to stop Tintin , trying to see what she can do. Tintin told Haddock to dump the drink into the gas chamber to see if they could get some milage left. Haddock couldn't tell them that he drank it but fumbled to put a parachute on just in case. He opened the door and immediately closed after noticing the wind. He made some excuse that made Anne rolled her eyes again. Where was that bravery when he was shouting the two pilots earlier ?
" And you call yourself a Haddock ?" Tintin yelled turning around, frustrated at Haddock. Anne felt the same way but focused on the plane more. She grabbed the steering stick in attempt the keep it leveled.
Captain Haddock went out there and started to climb to the front .
"Hurry Captain ! We are running out of  fumes!" Anne shouted.
That was when she felt something hit her ankle and she looked down seeing the bottle which was empty. Her stomach dropped as she picked it up.
"Tintin," she said, gently tapping him on the shoulder.
He looked over and saw the bottle. Tintin's face fell as he looked back to the front and saw Haddock trying to make himself burp.
He succeeded but it made the plane go faster .
" Land!" Haddock yelled .
" No we are not there yet ! " Tintin said.
Anne looked outside the window and her eyes widen .
" No Land!" Haddock yelled again, this time moving to let Tintin see a massive sand dune coming toward them. Tintin tried to pull up before they could hit it but it was too late by some meters.
The sea captain fell off the top of the plane but he managed the grabbed a hold of the plane. While no one was looking , the two pilots who were tied up in the back escaped by cutting themselves free and jumping off the plane .
Anne didn't know what happened next but Tintin suddenly grabbed her by the waist and pulled her toward him as she grabbed Snowy. They braced for impact  and they hit another sand dune. Anne and Tintin were immediately knocked out going through the windshield. Anne slipped off the hood on her left and landed on the sand. Somehow she didn't wake up from that.
Tintin however was sliding down the hood , to the blades that were still running. Snowy tried to get him off but couldn't . Haddock who was now in he air thanks to the parachute he wore , shouted that he was going to get him. Haddock grabbed Tintin by the short and threw him on top of the plane. But his parachute got caught and he started to swing until he was on the ground. Tintin woke up in a daze and after clearing his head noticed the wreck and sighed . They would have to walk he Sahara desert . But then he noticed that Anne was not waking up .
Tintin got off of the plane and ran to the girl.
" Anne wake up , come on wake up ," he said , shaking her shoulder.
She groaned as she woke up . She blinked her eyes and saw Tintin over her. She wrapped her arms around his neck , thankful that they were alive.
" what are we going to do now ?" She asked as she let go and got up .
She hide in pain from her ankle . Tintin wraps an arm around her waist to start her .
" first we are going to check that ankle of yours ," he said .

Ok sorry this is so late but school and work kept getting in the way. But that is no excuse . So I wrote an extra long one . Also this was all from my iPhone so sorry for anything that is wrong !!!
