Tintin and Anne

Chapter 9

Sorry to leave you like that. College life has taken over and I was lucky to get some time before anything else to type this chapter. Again I am so sorry. 

The ship hit the other boat that Haddock and Anne let go of beforehand. In which to them was a total accident, but to the bad guys, they though it was a decoy. 

Tintin let go of Anne while she let go of his hand. All four of them ( yes I am including Snowy as them) sat up and watched as the ship  went past them. 

Tintin and Anne grabbed an oar and started to row while Haddock was sitting there, not really helping. 

"We have to get Bagghar ahead of Sakharine, " Tintin said. Anne looked at him, confused.

" I know. I know. Why?" Haddock said.

Tintin rolled his eyes.

"Because he has the third model ship," he said, hoping Haddock would get it.

"How do you know?" Anne asked. (I know Haddock says this but I felt that Anne needed to say something)

Anne's light brown hair was in her face, so she made an attempt to move it away from her eyes. She gave an annoyed grunt in which Tintin laughed a little and moved her hair away from her face, before getting back to the plan.

" The Sheikh collects old ships. And this is the prize of his collection," Tintin said.

He pulled out the flyer in which had the picture of the third ship.

Anne and Haddock gasped.

"Blistering Blue Barnacles. That is the Unicorn!" Haddock said in surprise. 

"Captain, Anne do you see the distortion around the model?" Tintin asked

Anne nodded while Haddock said,"Aye"

"It is in a bulletproof case ! Sakherine needs something to break it," Anne said.

"Yes, he has a secret weapon. The Milanese Nightingale. But that won't be enough to solve the mystery. And that is why Sakharine needs you. That's why he made you his prisoner. There is something he need you remember."

There was a pause. Soon Haddock admitted that he didn't follow what Tintin is saying.

Tintin sighed and since the boat was stopped, it rocked alittle. Anne wasn't falling out of the boat, but Tintin still grabbed her waist.

Haddock noticed this and smiled a little but was soon gone as he remembered the situation they were in.

"I read it in a book,Only a true Haddock can discover the secret of the Unicorn," Tintin said.

Haddock than gave a look saying that it is coming back to him.

Tintin and Anne gave a look of hope until he said," I don't remember anything about anything."

Anne groaned and didn't pay attention to the rest of the conversation as she knew that it is just Tintin asking Haddock to take them to Bagghar. But when he yelled that he can, she knew that Haddock just felt insulted.

He grabbed the oars. Tintin grabbed Anne Again and pulled to him where ever he went , in which was hard as the boat was small. Snowy barked as the boat moved as if he was saying ' Watch it!!"

Haddock hit Tintin and Anne in the head. This caused them to be knocked out. Tintin went down first with Anne on top of him. Her head on his chest. Soon, Snowy was knocked out as well.

Haddock, not realizing what he did, thought they fell asleep and promised he would take them to Bagghar.

I am gonna stop here as I have to get packing to go home from my dorm.
