Tintin and Anne

chapter 2

A man in all red was behind him. Tintin accidently bumped into him becuase the man stood so close to him. Anne was still holding onto Tintin unsure what to do.

"Wonderful .... just wonderful. Dont bother wrapping it i'll take it as is , does anyone object if i pay by check?" the man said.

"If you want it, talk to the kid," The seller said.

" Well, let the kid name his price," the man said.

Tintin tried to tell the man it's not for sell. The man didnt get the message. Anne walked with Tintin though this.

"Sorry sir but he said before it's not for sell,"Anne said, earning a glare from the man and a smile from Tintin.

Then they walked away.

"Those two , whats their names?" the man asked.

"Them? Everyone know them that's Tintin and Anne,"

Tinitin kept asking Anne question about the fuss of the boat altough she didnt for this is Tintin's way of thinking. She loved that about him, mumbling the things he did know just figure out what to do next.

Anne opened the door for Tintin and told him that she is going to change into a pair of pants. He didnt hear her for he was busy trying to figure out the mystery of the model ship.

She sighed. Somehow she had a feeling that they're going to have trouble soon.

Suddenly she heard a crash and after changing into a pair of browm pants and a white blouse, ran out of her room only to have a cat trip her and fall.

She yelped at she fell. Then the ship fell breaking the mast.

" Oh dear," She said. as Tintin picked up the ship and scoled Snowy for breaking it.

"I'm sorry about your ship Tintin," Anne said.

Tintin looked at her and said," Dont worry Anne, it wasnt your fault." She smiled.

Tintin decided to head to the libery. Anne followed him their and helped him with finding him infomation on The Unicorn (which was the name of the model ship).

She picked out a book in which Tintin read out aloud.

"Here it is! ' Sir Francis Haddock of Marlinspike Hall, the last captian of the ill fated Unicorn. The ship set sail from Barabados in 1676 on one of the most tragic voyages in maritime history. The ship never reached destation, attacked by pirates, all hands lost execept for one surrivor. When Sir Francois was resued and returned home, he was conviced his name had been cursed.The Unicorn manifest state was carrying a cargo of rum and tobacco bound for Europe but it was long claimed that the ship was carrying a secret cargo'" Tintin said. He looked at Anne who was looking for his shoulder , cuasing both of them to blush alitlle and Snowy to roll his eyes.

"Why were they carrying ?" Tintin asked. Then he started to read again.

"'Historians had tried and failed to discover what happened on that fatal voyage but Sir Francois last word's were 'Only a true Haddock can discover the secret of the unicorn," He read.

Anne's eyes widen at this. She picked up a book and started to read til she sensed someone watching them. At the same time as Tintin and Snowy, she looked up and behind her. No one was there. Snowy growled alittle. Then a clap of thunder hit and Anne covered her ears. She hated the sound of thunderstorms. Tintin never knew why but he knew it was time to go home.

When they arrived home , they found that the Unicorn have been stolen. They started to think it was the man whom Anne remember his name was Sakherin, had stolen it. They went to Marlinspike Hall and after being chased by a dog and being save by Snowy, broke in the manison by via window. Tintin helped Anne in by lifting her around her waist. He didnt realized how close thier faces were till he turned to her.

Thier face heated up and he let her go, grabbing her hand.

As they walked into the other room, Anne kept close to Tintin.

They found a model ship however Anne was hit in the head as well Tintin.

Tintin woke up first. He saw Anne unconsiscous on a chair. That's when he realized Anne must have been hit harder then him.

After having an arguement with Sakhrine and been threaten by him, he picked up Anne bridel style and carried her out of the house. Nestor gave him a clue and thats when Anne woke thinking they are still in danger.

"Anne stop its me Tintin!" He said.

She stopped and looked at him in fright. He put her legs down and held her up.

" Tintin what happened? All I remember was that someone hit me on the head and i blacked out," Anne said, almost crying.

Tintin hugged her saying lets go home.
