Chapter 10

I walk to the little animals room to bring her for her next testing.
"Poor girl." I say aloud as I'm walking to her room.
"Why must she be put through so much?"
I continue walking, when I hear voices coming from the door on the right of me.
"What about the rest of the testing Miss, she's still undergoing it."
"Yes that I know, but I don't want her to go through anymore testing. She was injured quite  badly yesterday."
"She healed herself quite quickly as well, if she gets injured again, she'll just heal herself again."
"THAT'S NOT THE POINT!!"
The female voice rises but seemed to be calming down again.
"What if she gets killed, I can not risk another child, even if the others weren't mine. I almost lost Zake, I can't lose Yuoshoka as well.
"Yes but think about it, if she doesn't pass the testing he will kill her."
Everything pauses for a brief second. The oxygen around me disappears,you could hear a feather drop if you really listened to it. "I'm not going to let that happen. After this testing, I'm taking her away from this place, along with Zake. The female voice says grimly.
The door opens and I duck behind the corner to avoid being caught.
After both people were gone, I continue the walk down the hallway. I finally make it to the girls room, and knock on the door.
"I'm coming in." I say.
As I walk in, I look around the room.
"It's spacious in here for just one person, I would be lonely."
I start to call her name, but realize that I don't know her name.
<"Did Maria even give her a name, I'm sure she did, I just don't know it.">
I scan the room to find the girl, my eyes finally land on a Queen size bed with a lump in it. I walk to the bed and lightly shake her.
"Come now, it's time to wake up."
The girl doesn't respond, just stays still. It's as if she knows if she moves, she'll have to wake up and do more of those horrible Godforsaken test we put her through.
I lightly shake her again, this time she rolls over. I see her beautiful turquoise hair cover her face.
I gently move it back to reveal a well rounded cute little face.
The girl groans and opens her eyes. I gasp,its almost as if i'm captivated by them. One pink the other indigo. So unique, beautiful,yet dangerous.
I shake these thoughts away and finish my order.
"Come with me."
"Do I have to do more test?"
The sound of her voice made me wish I didn't have to do this.
<"Why must such a sweet child be going through something like this? No, why should anyone be going through something like this?">
"Yes." I say apologetically.
"Yes, yes you do."
The girl pouts like the child she is, but gets up anyway.
~TO THE LAB~

We walk to the lab and I immediately get nervous. It's the same maze, but different at the same time. The door opens and I reluctantly walk in. I expected the wires again, but they never came.
I could feel Electro pulses through the floor. This is bad, very bad.
"Walk forward and I'll open the next gate."
I walk forward ready to face anything that came in my way. When the gates opened however, all that confidence disappeared. Blades swishing from every direction, wild and bloodthirsty mutant animals prowl, trick floors everywhere, and many other things.
"This test is easy."
A voice said over the intercom.
"All you have to do, is defeat anything in your way, and walk out that last gate. After that, your free to go."
The man pauses then continues.
"But there's a catch." I wait for his last words before its time for me to start.
"You must use your powers to pass through."
"HOW WILL I DO THAT!?"
"That I can not tell you, you must figure that out yourself. "
"Well here goes nothing." I say as I walk in.
