The  next day, Maria wakes up and gets ready to head to the White House. It's no longer the perfect example of the classic American colonial style, now the white house, no longer white, resembles a Bavarian  castle.

As Maria steps out of her house, a beautiful, black, shiny car pulls up to her slightly run down residence. Vincent presses a button on his window and it opens. He speaks in a sickeningly sweet tone.

"Ahh, I see you've vwoken up on time. Come, come get in and enjoy yourself my leettle scientist."

The door opens and Maria nervously steps in. She can feel the wickedness radiating off his entire being. But then again, wouldn't she be just as wicked as him to conduct an experiment on her own child, just for the joy of having money.

No, no of course not. She wouldn't get attached to the infant anyway and besides, the infant wouldn't know her has a mother,so what would it matter.

The whole ride to the castle was silent. Maria still felt like what she was doing was wrong. She should've said "no".

Then again could she have said "no"? And if she did, would he have forced her to say "yes"? Or worse,if she had said "no", would she even be alive? Would he have killed her if she said "no" and ask someone else to help him and just throw her body aside like it didn't matter?

Yes, most definitely, he would've done one or the other. The car makes a slight screeching sound as it pulls up to the huge white and gold castle.  Vincent and Maria steps out the car. Maria stands in awe and admiration at the colossal building. Vincent notices this and smiles at her.

"Zo I take it you like thee castle eh?" Maria is taken from her admiration and nods at Vincent.

"Yes, yes I do, I think it's very beautiful." Vincent leads Maria to a wide, open spaced,  white lab.

"This vwill be your vworking space. This is vwhere you vwill spend most ov your time conducting experiments. I vwill have a maid send you your meals."

And with that Vincent leaves Maria to do whatever she wanted as long as she stayed out of his way.
