Maria walks to a table of chemicals with a balloon belly. She rubs her stomach and smiles
" Your growing quite quickly since these experiments, my prediction is, you'll be born in 17 days."
Maria takes a needle full of a red substance, and shoots it in her stomach. She has gotten used to the sting of the red liquid, so it no longer bothered her. The baby inside her shifts and kicks Maria. Maria rubs her stomach again to sooth the fetus.
"Now,now calm down little one. It'll only last for a moment."
The fetus sends electromagnetic waves through Maria's body. The waves hits her head and she collapses to her knees. She screams an agonizing high pitched scream while holding her head. After a full whole hour, the throbbing pain in Maria's think pan vanishes. Maria is left with watery eyes and hard, fast, short breaths.
"Alright baby." Maria says venomously.
"Keep that up, and I'll kill you like the rest of them."
Maria makes her way off the floor and hangs onto the table beside her for support. When the room finally stops spinning, she takes another needle and injects the purple liquid into her stomach again. The baby kicks Maria,but that's all it does. Maria smiles and sighs in relief.
"Good. You did well this time, I'm proud of you."
A maid walks into the lab, making a blinding light flood into the room. Maria shields her eyes, for she hasn't seen the light of day since " that" fateful day. Her eyes had grown accustomed to the dark a long time ago, so even a little light would hurt them now.
" WHAT DO YOU WANT,IF YOU HAVEN'T NOTICED, I'M BUSY AT THE MOMENT?!"
The maid flinches at Maria's words, but wheels a cart in with a tray of food. I-I brought y-your foo-food to you ma-madam Ma-Maria, where should I pu -put it?"
Maria stares blankly at the girl for a moment, then sighs and looks around the room. She finally lands on a place that's clear of chemicals.
"Put it over there by the couch, I'll be eating shortly."
Maria turns back to her work and pays no mind to the maid as she rolls the tray to the desired destination. The maid bows to Maria respectfully, but doesn't leave. Maria notices this,and looks at the maid with confusion and slight anger.
" What,you wanna cookie, GO AWAY AND FULLY CLOSE MY DOOR IDIOT!"
The maid scrambles to the door, walks out and closes the door fully behind her as Maria demanded. Maria walks to a cage with an eagle in it, and smiles.
"I'll be taking a sample of your blood mixed with.... "
Maria thinks for a moment and looks around the room with all the different species of caged animals. She lands on one with a snake in it and gets excited.
"SNAKE!" Maria exclaims.
"I'LL MIX SNAKE WITH EAGLE. That should make an EXCELLENT creature.!"
Maria injects her stomach with the mixed blood and sighs. Her child kicks her again and stirs around. Maria holds her stomach and growls.
"Now, now it'll only last for a moment."
