[ A/N: This entire book is sprouting off of one idea so I hope it goes well ;-; Anyways, enjoy~! ]

It was nearing the end of the day. Yuki and a few of his classmates had stayed late after school to help clean up. As they exited the building, Yuki noticed a silhouette standing at the edge of the school roof. Realization dawned on him and he quickly rushed back through the doors.

"Yuki, where are you going?!" His classmates gave him a puzzling look before tracing where it was he had been looking. Immediately one of the girls called the police. [ I have no idea if you're suppose to call the police, the hospital, or the fire department ;-; ]

The sudden slam of the roof door opening forced the girl to halt from stepping off. She quickly turned around to find a boy with dirty blonde hair standing in the doorway, slowly making his way towards her. Turning back around she heard sirens and saw official government vehicles pull into the school.

This isn't necessary....

While she was distracted by the people below, yelling into a microphone for her to rethink her decision, Yuki inched closer to her. She shut her eyes, taking deep breaths and blocking out the noise they were making from their sirens and loud shouting,

As soon as she had jumped, he was able to grab onto her hand. Screams could be heard from spectators at the bottom. Using all his strength, he pulled her back up.

Officials rushed onto the roof and helped him carry the girl into an ambulance vehicle. The two of them heading for the hospital.

Yuki sat on a chair at the side of the bed. Staring at the girl he didn't even know. A simple classmate that he had seen couple times in his classes or in the hallway but never spoke to. He had given her name to the doctors, [F/N] [L/N]....

"May I speak with you?" A doctor called from the doorway. "Yes, of course!" Yuki quickly paced out the door and the doctor closed the door behind him.

"The girl is stable now and clear for release," relief washed over him at the sound of those words," however she has no immediate family nearby and her parents are off in another country. We've contacted them about the situation yet unfortunately they don't seem to be taking much action." Yuki stared at him in shock. What kind of parents did she have?

"It would be unwise for us to let her go on her own. We know this may be much to ask but would it be possible for her to stay under your care? We'll allow you to deem when she is able to return to functioning on her own."

Yuki accepted with an overwhelming sense of determination. He was going to help this girl back on her feet, be there for her when she is sad and show her the beautiful things in life.

Her uniform and items were returned to her and she followed him silently back to his house. "Umm, make yourself at home!" He chuckled nervously. She took of her shoes and stepped into the house.

"I'll take you to your room. You can drop off your things and then we can tour the house!" He cheered happily, taking her hand and pulling her gently up the stairs and to a door. "My room is next door if ever you need me, ok?" She nodded and silently stepped inside, observing the decent-sized bedroom.

She placed her items on the bed and turned to face him. He took it as a sign she was ready and started showing her the house. "This is the upstairs bathroom, oh and that's the storage closet."

They headed downstairs. "There's the kitchen, the dining table. Oh! There's the living room, we can watch TV there, that's the bathroom..." He kept on rambling on as she followed silently, every so often glancing at the rooms he gestured to. Her thoughts where mainly elsewhere.

His sudden gasp brought her out of her daydreaming. "I want to show you the garden!" He jumped with excitement as he subconsciously grabbed her hand and pulled her towards a door that opened to reveal an isolated garden. The last glimpses of sunlight could be seen from the opening at the top and a stone path led up to a small pond.

"You can come here whenever you like but I think it's about time we head to bed," he chuckled. She followed him back upstairs. "Since a lot of your things won't arrive until tomorrow, w-would you like to use some of my clothing u-until then...?" He blushed nervously. She seemed to blush as well but nodded. "G-great...!" He laughed and headed into his room, allowing her to follow. "Pick whatever you like!"

He became flustered seeing her dressed in his oversized shirt and a pair of shorts. One of the sleeves constantly slipping on her shoulder. He quickly cover his mouth and turned away trying to hide his heavy blush. "Um, w-well... G-goodnight!" he called before closing his door. After a short moment of silence, he heard her close her own.

[ A/N: Well... This was a big of an awkward chapter but it'll get better! ;3; Perspective will change from time to time on this one. I hope you liked it! :D ]
