Chapter 8 (John)

I arrive home and I receive a welcome greeting by my parents as I head to my room. I put down my bag and my phone buzzes. My heart quivers is that Alex? I check my phone. It is!

A- Hey (:

J- Hey :)

A- Guess what?!?!?!?

J- What? :O

A- I finally figured out what I'm going to do for my English essay... only if its ok with you

My heart soars.

J- You're writing about ME?! Aww that's so sweet!

A- Yeah are you okay with it?

J- It's amazing of course it's okay

A- Okay good! I never got to see you after school. I should have looked for you, sorry.

J- Ah don't worry about it, I understand.

A- I'll see you tomorrow at school though!

J- Definitely :)

A- We should hang out this weekend?

J- Yeah! Maybe I can show you Lion King huh?

A- Haha, if you want to

J- I'm sure my parents will let you come over, they're chill

A- yeah and if not you can always come over to my place

J- mmhm

I'm excited for when that day comes.

A- ur so cute

A- My dear Laurens, I think that's where you are wrong

J- But it is true! You're the most adorable person I've met

A- How is that fair? I'm older than you!

J- Ah but you're small which makes you 2X cuter!

A- That's not fair either!

J- Alex you have the most brilliant eyes

A- John you are the reason my eyes are so brilliant. They light up whenever you are around.

J- Your beautiful smile, so honest and true. Not one thing but thousands remind me of you.

A- John Laurens for once in my life I can not think of anything to say. That rhymes!

J- Ha! I told you you were adorable!

A- Haha I guess you win?

J- Nah there was no contest

A- Haha okay (:

J- okay (:

A- Hey I'm going to start writing, I'll text you later yeah?

J- Okay bye Alex

A- Bye John

I love talking to him.. I start on my homework for my classes. It's mostly review, I have a lot of tests tomorrow. About thirty minutes later my phone buzzes.

A- Hello

J- Hey

A- Hru

J- Great, and u?

A- I'm good. Just taking a break from my essay.

J- Breaks are good :)

I need a break too honestly. 

A- Yeah (:

J- How far did you get?

A- only about 3 or so pages

J- Damn that was fast!

A- I feel like I'm running out of time with this essay because I started so late :/

J- Ah you'll be fine, you already got started the same week it was given. If it was me I would have started the day before lol

A- lol I guess. Idk how long it will be lol

J- It'll come to you when it feels right

A- Yeah (: thank you that makes me feel a lot better John cx

J- Ah being with you always makes me feel better

A- Damn John, back at it again with making me blush.

J- hahah

A- ha, so have you started on your homework yet?

J- Yeah just about done with history so far

A- Okay, good job

J- Thanks

A- No problem (:

J- I'm gonna get started on Biology stuff now so replies might be late

A- It's ok I have to go anyway my mom is going to be home soon and I want to make her dinner.

J- oh cool, tell her I said hi

J- See ya

A- Bye!

I continue with homework until I finish. I get up and stretch my legs. I haven't moved much in two hours! I get up to feed my turtles, say hi to my parents and brush Yoshi. Looks like we're going to have leftovers today. I go back to my room to check if Alex has texted me again.

A- Hey

J- Hello. How's your mom?

A- She came home with news actually!

J- What's the news?

A- She might be pregnant

J- OMG THAT'S SO COOL! BABIES ARE SO CUTE!

A- Haha (: you okay?

J- yeah I just really like babies and kids

Shit. I probably creeped him out.

A- Aw see you are adorable

J- yeah but so are you

A- haha.. so why do you like babies so much?

J- idk maybe because I'm an only child or something

A- ahh I am too

J- cool (: I'm going to go eat dinner. You did eat right?

A- yeah (:

good.

J- Okay I'll see you tomorrow

A- See you

I eat dinner then go to bed happy. What a great day this was.
