The Oakland County Child Killer 

Four children were murdered in 13 months between 1976 and 1977 by an unnamed serial killer. The killer was responsible for the grisly deaths of Mark Stebbins, 12; Jill Robinson, 12; Kristine Mihelich, 10; and Tommy King, 11. Two had included sexual assault. Timothy father and mother turned to the media, begging for the return of him. His mother promised to fix him his favorite food, fried chicken. Six days later his body was found in a shallow ditch, with his skateboard with him. His clothes were neat and washed, and evidence showed that he had eaten fried chicken before he died

The murder was never found.

The children were held each from 4-19 days before being killed. This was a 13 month period of these kids being kidnapped and killed.

Mark Stebbins, age 12 was first to disappear. He left the American legion Hall after telling his mom he was going to go home and watch TV. Four days later his body was found on a snow bank in the parking lot of an office building on Ten Mile Road. He had been strangled and sexually assaulted with an object. Rope marks were seen on his wrist. He was fully clothed in the outfit he was wearing when he was scene.
