She gave up. they had shattered her dreams, embedded her heart with insecurities, called her a failure.
She hated herself. They told her she would never be as beautiful. They said nobody would love her. And she believed it.
She believed them, she let them manipulate her mind, she was helpless, she felt unloved, unwanted.
But when she met him, he cast away her insecurities, healed the scars,
he picked up the pieces of her shattered heart
and carefully he built her confidence.
He dove to the depth of her eyes and saw her fears she chose to hide.
It was beautiful how he loved her more than she ever loved herself.
