You left her without a single word.
She waited, till she could no more.
She cried for you, tears of blood.
You never showed up.
She thought you'd come back for her,
Not knowing you had left for good.
You came back only to find her cold, lifeless body,
Your body numbed with guilt,
Your heart filled with regret.
If only......
I left you
I shouldn't have.
I thought I could get over you,
You never said you loved me.
I returned to a sight which numbed me,
how will I ever forgive myself.
If only you told me, if only I asked
My life is worth nothing without you,
I returned thinking I had gotten over you,
Seeing you brought back all the emotions,
Stronger than before.
Then I realized my love for you was real,
But it was too late.
