Thalia' POV:
I yank at the door handle, trying to open it while spirits claw at my face. God DAMMIT! Those spirits just keep coming. And its activating, not being able to hit them.I want them to eat my fist and arrows.
I glance at Percy. Hes looking really bad. He lies unconscious to my right, where I dumped him after rescuing him from the battle field. His face is grey and blood drips from several wounds. And his veins are beginning to turn black around the area where that that filthy and disgusting spirit sank her fangs into, vampire style.
I look at my friends. They're all exhausted, especially Hazel and Nico. They have to stumble around, killing these creatures and saving our lives becuase we can't do it ourselves.
I punch the door in frustration.
I turn around when I hear a hiss. I curse when I realise that I missed a spirit and she was standing over Percy, ready to have him for supper.
I draw my sword and wave it around. That catches her attention. She growls and launches at me. I dive side ways. I can't summon lightening down here, which is a major part of all what I can do gone.
Luckily Hazel appears behind her and kills it. She moves off to save Jason. Suddenly I hear a click and the door slowly opens, light shining through. I scream for joy and motion to the door.
Jade's POV:
Our fight feels like its been going on forever. He swings his spear and it connects with the side of my head. I fly sideways and lights burst behind my eyes as my head hits the floor.
I taste blood in my mouth. I'm so exhausted, I almost passed out there. But I sit up and wipe the blood from my mouth away. I stand on shaky legs and charge at him.
Nico' POV:
I hear Thalia scream. At first I thought it was from pain, but then I see her jumping for joy and wildly pointing at the open door. I turn away, as if I never saw her.
Sadly, Jason grabs my arm and starts dragging me towards the door. I pull my arm back and he turns to look at me.
"We can't go, she's not back yet," I tell him, but he swings me over his shoulders. I scream and punch him. I throw my self loose from his grip, but I realise we're already by the door.
"No!" I scream as Thalia grabs my arm. "We can't leave her here!"
"Nico, you promised her that if we can, we would leave. Even if it's without her." She tries to drag me through the door, but I protest.
"Nico, if we don't leave now and get to Olympus, Percy is going to die!" She shouts and I cave in. She pulls me through the door and Hazel slams it behind me.
I sit there on the floor and stare at the door. The desk manager looks at us over the top of his book and shrugs," I warned you," then goes back to reading.
Jade:
I smack Tartarus over his head with my sword and he howls in pain. I back away before he can attack me.
I'm breathing hard and sweat stings the cuts on my face. My left arm and shoulder is numb from the posion and my vision is blurry from multiple hits to the head.
He stands and charges at me and I only just mange to avoid being impaled. But as I stumble back, I trip over something and fall backwards. I curse myself for being such a clutz.
Tartarus stabs downwards with his spear and I catch it in my side as I roll away. I let out a scream.
I get to my feet and block another attack, but the impact sends me flying. I hit the wall hard and fall heavily to the ground. I'm tired and I just want to close my eyes. I don't get up, only watch from half - open eyes as he walks towards me.
"You're a pathetic challenger, I can't believe the gods thought that you would be able to stop me," he sneers. "They didn't send me, I am here by independent choice," I manage to choke out.
He smirks and says,"Well, that was a rather stupid choice, wasn't it?" He leans down and grabs my chin. "You were almost easier to trap than Hades. I lured him to my pit just I was about to rise and trapped him like a fly."
With the word 'trap' he digs his long nail into my chin. My throat is hoarse from screaming, so I can only grit me teeth. Then then became cocky.
"I will watch you bleed to your death from my new throne," he decides. He made his mistake by turning his back to me. I grab my sword and launch at him with a loud battle cry.
I stab him down his spine and he falls foreward with a scream that could pierce your eardrums. He turns to and hisses," This is not over, Wolf Huntress." Then dissapers. My knees give in and I black out.
It takes me a while to come to. I try to sit up, but gasp as pain shoots through my body. With a few tears falling from my face, I stand and face Hade' purple bubble.
I lift my sword and charge at it. I stab it and it explodes, the explosion sending me flying back wards. By some miricle, I land on my feet. I run foreward to Hades' side and wince when I take in his white and thin complextion.
An ideas jumps into my head and I want to smack myself for not thinking of this earlier. I think about Lupa and mentally reach for her. I feel a small click and ask, Lupa? Can you hear me?
A small bark comes back, Huntress! I can sense your pain from here. What happened?
Nothing important, I just need a favour. I need you to send Hades and I to Olympus.
What! My dear, you are incredibly injured, you must come here so that I can help you.
No, Lupa, Apollo can help me when we get there. Please! I need to get there now!
There's a long silence. Fine, but promise me you'll get help. I know you. You'll put it off until you collapse. I smile to myself. I promise. I lean down and grab Hades' wrist. In a flash, we're in front of Olympus.
