Above is a picture(s) of the outfit that Ashley bought.

~Ashley POV~

I walked into school with a confident smirk on my face. I skipped school yesterday, (which isn't technically breaking the rules of the dare because Hunter has temporarily ended it), so I could go to the mall and get a new outfit.

It isn't my usual outfit; it's the kind of outfit that the dare would require.

It has a b&w flower print corset, a navy blue short skirt, a gray sweater pullover, and completes with some tan, lace-up booties.

Looking in the mirror this morning almost made me gag. These kind of outfits are the ones I despise. I'm more of a leggings and T-Shirt kind of girl.

However, this is the only way to get this dare back on track. I've never left a dare unfinished, and I wasn't about to start now.

I walked up to Alec who was leaning against a locker talking to Dean, "Hey guys," I smiled.
Alec's eyes flitted over to me, and when he saw me, he did a double take.

"Whoa," he breathed, and I smirked.

"Like what you see?" I asked with a little teasing shake.

"Yes. Yes, I do very much," Alec answered while pulling me into a hug.

I sighed as I melted into his arms. He smelled so good, and I could feel his abs under his shirt as I was squeezing him.

When I finally came up for air, I was facing Dean. His eyes raked over my body, and he bit his lip.

Is he checking me out? I frowned at him, and when he caught my look, he quickly looked away.

Thankfully, Alec didn't notice as he was too busy talking about something else. "Alec?" I tapped his shoulder in effort to get his attention. He immediately stopped his conversation and turned to me. "Yeah, Ash?"
"I'm really sorry for interrupting," I could see the guy he was talking to roll his eyes, "But I was wondering if you knew where Hunter was?"
Alec's eyes visibly darkened but he didn't say anything about it. "Yeah, I think he's outside. I'll have someone bring him in for you."
"No, I can just go by mysel-"
Alec had already turned around and was asking the guy he as talking to, to get Hunter from outside.
When he left, I sighed. "You didn't have to make him do that; I could have gone myself."
He shook his head and smiled. "Nah, it's all good. Bryce doesn't care."
It didn't seem like Bryce didn't care.

A few minutes later Bryce was walking up to us with Hunter in tow. Hunter had his usual scowl on his face and looked bored.  "Uh thanks, Bryce," I say awkwardly.

"Whatever," he says rolling his eyes, and he walks away.

How rude. I know I interrupted his conversation, but I did apologize for it. Whatever. Dude can go screw himself for all I care.

I averted my attention to Hunter who was leaning against a locker and staring at the ground. I sighed. I was vaguely aware of Alec who was watching us little ways away. "Hunter?"

He looked up with a blank stare. "Can I help you? You got me dragged back in here."

I frowned but let his rudeness slide. "I wanted to say that I'm sorry for what I did, whatever it was."

He shrugged, "Cool."

That was it. I was trying to apologize dammit! "Hunter Novell you look me in the eye right now," I say with a firm voice as he looks up unfazed. "I am sorry for what I did. I have no fucking clue what it was, but in some way, it hurt you or made you mad. No way in hell is this dare off. I have spent way to much time, and money for that matter, for you to just give up now. So, as a way to put this dare back on track, I'm wearing a brand new outfit. It's super girly, and I'm only wearing it to show you that I'm still in the game if you are. Do we have a deal?"

He looked me up and down studying my outfit. He met my eyes and stared. He didn't say anything for a few seconds before he smirked. "You did all this for me, Princess? Well, I must say, I do feel appreciated. Deal's back on, Sweetheart," he winked, and I rolled my eyes. Hunter Novell was back.

"You do realize I'm winning the dare, right?" he asked with a smirk.

"Excuse me?" I ask with an eyebrow raised.

"You did all of this because you care so much about me, Sweetheart. I'm already ahead."

I shook my head and laughed. "In your dreams, Novell."

"You're always in my dreams, sweetheart. And don't you forget it," he winked, and I rolled my eyes, again.

The pickup lines were back.

Just as I was about to respond Alec came up behind me and wrapped an arm around my shoulder, "Hey guys, what are you talking about?" he asked.

Hunter eyed him warily but didn't say anything and just squinted a little.

"The dare is back on!" I say excitedly, and Alec gives me a tight smile. He nods in approval, but there isn't much enthusiasm.

"That's great, Ash. Just great." He says through clenched teeth.

I frowned and gulp. Did I just make a big mistake?

Before I had any more time to think about it, the bell rang.

I groaned aloud. I started walking towards class when I noticed Hunter wasn't following. "Hunter? Are you coming?" I asked.

"No, I have to talk to him about something," Alec replied for him, and I nodded.

"Okay, see you during lunch, I guess," I say as I make my way towards class.

As I walked, I got an uneasy feeling in my stomach. I could feel both pairs of eyes drilling into my skull. Something was about to happen, and it wasn't going to be good.

~~Alec POV~~

I watched as Ashley left. I liked her so much. From the moment I saw her, I knew she was special. That's why I had justified what I was about to do, in my head of course.

"What do you want ma-" Hunter started but was cut off by me punching him in the face.

He swung around with fury in his eyes. "What. The fuck. Is wrong with you?" He shouted, and I glared at him, but he only scowled back.

"What the fuck is wrong with you man? You know Ash, and I are dating, and you just want to screw it all up so you can have her to yourself." I fired back in anger. I'm not usually a violent person, I'm pretty relaxed, but Hunter was making me so mad.

"You can have her! I don't have any feelings for her whatsoever, you know me! It's all part of the dare." he shouted.

I took a deep breath; this only made me angrier. "So you are trying to make Ash fall for you! That is what the dare states. And if she falls for you then she doesn't like me."

"As I have said many times to you, I don't like Ash," he repeated while squinting his eyes.

I only returned the look. "Do you think I'm dumb?"

He gave me a confused look, and I just shook my head. "You're the one falling for her dumbass! I see the way you look at her when she's turned around." I put a hand on more forehead because it was starting to hurt. "And I see the way she looks at you. I know because it's the way I want her to look at me." I added in a whisper, but Hunter didn't hear me over the sound of his big ass ego.

"You're the stupidest little shit; you know that right? I'm Hunter Novell. I don't 'fall in love' because I could care less about breaking little girl hearts! I don't like Ashley at all, and you can count on it, Alec. Now go get your little girlfriend, I'm leaving before I do something to you that I regret." He turned and stormed out of the school and slammed the doors with a bang.

I sighed. Hunter was my best friend, but even I can't always handle him. He might deny it, but I know him too well. I know the saying "Bros before hoes," but Ashley isn't any old
"hoe."

I walked down the long hallway in silence. I like Ashley so much I can't even explain it. But I worry that her dating me isn't meant to be.

In the end, someone will be heartbroken.
