   *Jessica's P.O.V.*

It's just another day here in busy New York City. I love the city, but I hate the chaos and the rude people. Oh, before I get too far into my rant, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jessica Louise Anderson, I have super curly chocolate brown hair that just comes past my shoulders. I have brown eyes, a curvy body, and stand at a petite frame of 5'6". I moved here from Ireland 6 years ago, when I was accepted into Columbia University. I graduated from there 2 years ago and have been working for Timothy Brown; the top New York designer ever since. Working for Mr. Brown is like a dream come true. Today he said he had something important to talk to me about. Honestly I'm a little scared - I mean who wouldn't be when their boss tells them they have to talk to them? Taking a deep breath to calm my nerves, I tentatively knocked n his door.

"Come in!" he called from inside.

"You wanted to talk to me, sir?" I asked nervously.

"Ah, yes. Have a seat." he said, gesturing to the empty chairs in front of him.

Nodding, I sat in one of the chairs in front of him.

"Now, as you may have heard, I am thinking of opening an office in Bloomfield over in Ireland. I can't personally be there myself, so I'm going to send my best designer over there to be in charge of that office. And you, Jessica, happen to be the best designer I have. So, I was hoping that person could be you?"

I'm pretty sure that by now my mouth was hanging open - it was. Quickly, I composed myself and thought over the options and possibilities of taking this offer. Every scenario said that Ireland was the best option. Remembering that he was waiting for an answer, i scrambled to put my thoughts into a coherent sentence.

"Uh- yes! Yes, I would love to go." I answered with a huge grin plastered on my face.

"Really? Great! I didn't think you would have agreed so quickly, it is a big move. Anyway could you be ready to move in say, 2 weeks?"

"Yes, of course."

"It's settled then. You will be the new CEO of the design branch in Ireland! Congratulations!" he finished with a smile.

"I can't wait." I replied with an equally big grin.

When I got home later that evening, I was so excited, that I had already started looking for places in Mullingar. The best part about the office location is that it is only 20 minutes away from my parents' house in Mullingar.

I really do miss my family. But because of the international call costs, we don't get to talk very often, mainly just holidays and birthdays. This will be the perfect opportunity to spend more time with them after all these years.

As for the house shopping, I found a lovely flat just a few blocks down from my family. It was perfect. With 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, spread out over 2 floors, it was just what I needed. the kitchen was big and modern and the living room was huge, spacious, and very cozy. When i saw that it came fully furnished, I knew I didn't need to look further.

*2 Weeks Later*

Today is the day. I am finally mooving back home. I havent told my parents or siblings yet, I wanted it to be a surprise when I showeed up at thier doorstep unplanned. All of my stuff has already been shipped to the house, aside from the few nessesities i would need for the last couple days in New York. Running over the it of the last few things I neede to grab, I did one last walk through of the place I had called home for the past 2 years. It looked so naked now with all of my stuff gone. With one last look, I locked the door for the last time, and went outside so i could try and catch a cab to the airport.

I'm really gonna miss this place, I thought to myself as the taxi driver pulled away from the building.

As much as I'm excited to go back to Ireland, I'm really not looking forward to the 16 hour flight to get there.

"The plane to Mullingar is now boarding."

With a final deep breath, I got on the plane and found my seat. When the seatbelt sign came on, I buckled in and turned off my phone.

"Here goes nothing," I mumbled to myself as the plane took off.
