*Niall's P.O.V.* *Day After Jessica Arrived in Ireland*

It was about 7:30 p.m. when I pulled up to my childhood house. I didn't think anyone was around or would mind me, so I was jamming out to Little Black Dress ( quite loudly might I add ), when I heard laughter behind me. Spinning to see where it was coming from, I saw a beautiful girl wearing - you guessed it, a little black dress. I blushed realizing she had heard me singing and laughed long at the irony of the song at the moment and the outfit she was wearing. Once we calmed down, we just kinda stared at each other, until I realized I needed to introduce myself.

"Oh! I- um.. I'm Niall. And you must be...?" I trailed off waiting for her to finish.

"I'm Jessica. I just moved in over there." she said pointing to the big white house behind us with a large moving van in front.

"Wow. That's a big one. I actually live across the street." I smiled, pointing to my house. Not wanting the conversation to end just yet, I asked, "So what's the occasion?" I gestured to her dress - which by the way she looked gorgeous in.

She paused, looking down at herself before she answered, "Oh, I'm going home to surprise my family. I've been living in New York for the past six years."

"Woah. That's a long time! Why were you in New York?" realizing how intruding I was being, I quickly added, "If you don't mind me asking that is."

She waved her hand as if to say Not at all. "I was attending University at Columbia, for the first 4 years; and the last two I was working for Timothy Brown. Have you heard of him?"

I paused, wracking my brain for the name Timothy Brown. Uh... Nope. No bells ringing. What's he do?"

Her eyes widened a bit in surprise before she composed herself and answered, "Oh right, he's in the U.S.; we are in Ireland - duh. But, yeah he's the top interior designer in America. He actually just opened an office here. And that's why I'm  here. He sent me here to run it. You are looking at the new CEO of the Ireland branch." She finished with a proud smile.

"Holy shit! That;s amazing!" I practically screamed. Without thinking, I closed the gap between us and hugged her as if I had been best friends with her for years, and that this was normal.  She froze for a second before I felt her relax and hug me back, tucking her head into the crook of my neck. I couldn't help but notice how natural it felt, and how we seemed to fit together perfectly like puzzle pieces - even though I just met her a few hours ago.

"I feel like I've known you all my life." I heard her whisper, so quiet I almost thought I had imagined it. Her words send a shiver down my spine and I can't help but whisper, "Yeah, me too." back. Reluctantly, I broke away. Blushing, I mumbled an apology, "Sorry, I don't know what came over me."

She just nodded. She was blushing a deep shade of red and chewing her bottom lip trying to hide a smile. Suddenly, a chilly breeze blew by and I couldn't help but notice how she shivered a little. She was after all in a sleeveless that ended just above her knees, leaving her legs and arms exposed to the night chill.

"You cold?" I asked her.

"N-no."  She stuttered, clearly lying.

"You're lying." I called her out. Turing around, I Popped the top of the boot open and grabbed my favourite zipper hoodie and put the think hoodie over her shoulders and zipping it up so she couldn't deny it. Blushing, she mumbled a quick "Thank you," as she put her arms through the sleeves. She then looked around, her eyes widened when she realized that it had fallen dark around us. She grabbed my wrist, looking at my watch, seeing that it read 9:42. Wow, 2 hours! I thought to myself. It was just so easy with her. I just never wanted to stop looking at her beautiful, plump lips as she talked. You could just tell she was passionate about whatever she spoke about, by the way she waved her hands around for emphasis.

"Shit." she cursed.

"What's wrong?" I asked, not understanding why she seemed to be so worried.

"I was planning to be there before now. Shit shit shit shit." she kept rambling in her panicked state.

"Hey." I said, reaching out and placing a hand on her shoulder to calm her down and watched as she relaxed tremendously under my touch. "I can take you, so you don't have to walk - seeing as there is no car in your driveway. Alright?"

"Thank you, Niall. That would be really sweet." at this, I was glad it was dark out so she couldn't see me blushing - again. "But how will I get home-" she continued before I cut her off.

"I will. You can just call me when you want me to pick you up. Here, give me your phone so I can put my number in." I said handing her mine so she could do the same.

"Ok. Thank you Niall."

"Of course, love."

Once we were done, we walked to the car, where I opened her door for her and shut it carefully once she  had climbed in. Jogging over to my side, I got in and started the car. We were driving in silence for a bit until I couldn't take it anymore and broke it.

"So tell me about yourself."

"Alright let's see... I have two older brothers; Jimmy and Tyler, then there is my older sister Ellie, then me and then there are the twins Maddie and Mary. My mum's name is Allison and my dad's name is Evan. Umm... I love volleyball, I graduated as the valedictorian, uh my best friend's name is Jade Morgans - which reminds me, I have to visit her sometime... my birthday is June 3, I'll be 21 this coming year. Oh! And my favourite colour is green. That's about it." she finished with a bright smile.

"Jesus, that's a lot of kids. Oh, which way am I turning?" I asked coming to an intersection.

"Left. Your turn to tell me about yourself." she smirked.

"Alright, fair enough. Let's see," I started, smirking as I used her words from earlier, "I have an older brother Greg, who is happily married and has a baby boy named Theo. My mum's name is Maura; she's a great cook by the way, and my dad's name is Bobby. My favourite colour is blue and my birthday is September 13, I will also be 21 this year. My best friends are Harry, Liam, Louis, and Zayn. I'm in a band with them named One Direction - in case you didn't already know. Uhh... I went to a private music school instead of a regular public school. Yeah, that's about it. Which house?" I finished as we came to the road she had pointed me to while I was talking.

"Oh, the blue one towards the end here."

"Here we are m'lady." I tried to say in a posh accent to get her to laugh. It worked. She used out into a fit of giggles and I couldn't help but laugh along because her laugh is just so contagious.

"Why thank you kind sir." she replied once she calmed down, and opened her door. Just as she was about to climb out, she leaned back in and placed a kiss to my cheek. It was so quick, I barely had time to register what happened before she pulled away murmuring a quick "Bye Niall." before she was gone. Even if it was just a quick peck, I couldn't help the stupid grin on my face as I headed back home.
