*Niall's P.O.V.*

It was late, or should I say early, and I was just about to crawl into bed when my phone started ringing. I groaned, trying to find my phone to see who was calling at this ungodly hour.

"Yeah?" I asked through a yawn, not even bothering to check the caller I.D.

"Niall?" a feminine voice asked.

It took my half-asleep mind to place the voice with a name and voice. Once I did, I sat bolt up right. "Jessica!" I exclaimed in realization.

"Uh, yeah." she answered letting out an awkward laugh, "So I was wondering if it wasn't too much to ask, if you could come take me home?" she asked trying to hide the yawn that escaped at the end of her sentence. Causing a yawn of my own to escape. Damn, even over the phone yawns are still contagious!

"Of course. I'll be there in fifteen. Okay?" I asked, looking for my discarded clothing somewhere on the floor.

"Okay, thank you Niall."

"Alright, see you in a bit. Bye love." I said hanging up so I could pull on my newly found clothing items. I grab my keys and head out to my car, driving back to the Anderson residence. As I pulled up I could see inside the front picture window. It amazed me how close her family seemed to be. It was obvious they had always been a close knit family. Glancing at the clock on the dash, I realized I had been sitting here for ten minutes already. Realizing I would look like a creep if I stayed here any longer. I got out and texted Jessica, letting her know I was here, before heading up the driveway. Half way up the drive I got a text from her.

No! Don't come in! Unless you want to be trampled and interrogated!

Well she didn't have to tell me twice. So I went back to wait for her at the car. Pretty soon, I saw her walking out the door, zipping my hoodie back up and snuggling into the warmth coming from it. As she hit the last step, someone opened the door.

"Hi Niall! I'll see you tomorrow!" someone screamed at me before slamming the door, only to open it back up seconds later. "Drive safe!" they said, then they were gone.

Well that was kind of... weird. I thought to myself. I smiled when I saw Jessica just a few feet away.

"Hey." I lamely said as I hugged her tightly, divulging in the scent of my cologne and her perfume mixing together. It was just heaven in your nose! Pulling apart enough to look at her I smiled and asked, "You ready to go home?" trying to stifle the yawn that came over me at the end.

"Yes please," she replied, stifling a yawn of her own.

I nodded and opened her door for her and shut it when she was inside once more. I turned the radio on, trying to find an upbeat song, but kept it down low when I noticed her curl up in the seat, resting her head against the window. I couldn't help but smile at how adorable she looked with her shoes off, feet tucked up by her bum, toes curled, hands folded under her head as a pillow against the cool glass of the window. Turning my attention back to driving, I carefully backed out of the driveway and headed towards our homes.

When I pulled up to her house, Jessica was fast asleep. At some point she had turned over so she was facing me while she slept. One of her hands dropped from its previous position cradling her head and fell on top of mine that had been resting on the center council. Cautiously, I turned it over, weaving my fingers through hers and brought it up to my mouth before pressing a soft kiss to the back of her hand before bringing them back down and resting them in my lap. I was now standing by her side of the car with the door open debating whether I should wake her or not. In the end I decided I had to get her inside before she froze t death out here in the cold of the night. Gently shaking her shoulder I told her she was home. She responded by groaning, rolling over and putting her arms in the air signaling she wanted to be carried. Chuckling, I reached over her and unbuckled her and grabbed her shoes from the floor, which I placed in her lap. I placed an arm under her back and under the bend of her knees, so I was carrying er bridal style up the driveway. I got as far as the front door before I realized I didn't have a hand or key to open the door. "Babe," I whispered in her ear, "you need to open the door." Humming, she reached into her clutch and got the key and attempted to unlock the door. All without trying to open her eyes, so it took a bit to actually get the key in and unlocked. I couldn't resist the small chuckle that escaped my lips as I watched her in amusement as she struggled to get the lock. When she finally got frustrated she opened one eye and finally unlocked it and quickly opened the door and let me step in. She tossed her shoes to the floor while I shut the door and toed my own shoes off. Once she had rid herself of her shoes she didn't hesitate to wrap her arms around my neck and snuggle further into my chest, letting out a happy sigh. I could feel a grin threatening at the corners of my lips as my heart rate sped up at her actions.
