"Um, Makoto, that's not how you do that." Kyoko advised, staring at his terrible piping work as he messily topped a few cupcakes. Makoto had tried to do a red and white swirl for Aoi's cupcake (They were making a custom one for each of their classmates as an early Christmas present!) and had ended up just sloppily mixing the colors into pink.
"Oh..." He frowned a bit, his cheeks dusting a shade of pink that rivaled the frosting. Kyoko simply smiled, shaking her head. She took a butterknife and scraped the tainted icing off of the treat and kissed Makoto's forehead.
"Perhaps you shouldn't try skipping ahead next time." The detective added slyly.
