(Greg's POV)

..."and that's how I became a rock-idol!," Greg exclaimed, stuffing hot dog into his mouth. A tall, strong lady dressed in a white blouse with voluminous pink hair laughed quietly.

"Even rocks worshiped you? You're amazing, Greg." Greg gave a her a quizzical look.

"Rocks? Oh, no! Not that kind of idol! I mean people really liked my music." Greg eyed Rose's hot dog. "Are you gonna eat that?" Rose looked at him benignly.

"Eat? Gems don't need to eat. Our gemstones make our energy for us." Greg licked the salty oil off his fingers.

"Really? And how do your gemstones do that?" Rose's happy face fell into one of confusion and seriousness.

"I... don't know." Greg gave a small laugh, which almost instantly stopped once he glanced at the look on Rose's face. "Why are you laughing?"

Greg was suddenly uncomfortable. "Well, I just think it's kinda weird that you don't know how your own body works. I mean, I know how my body works. I need to eat. I need to drink."

Rose's head went slightly to the side. "Or what?"

"Or I die," Greg said simply. He looked at Rose's hot dog again. "You should at least try it, even if you're not gonna eat it."

Rose smiled at him warmly. "Okay. I guess I will." She picked up the hot dog, looked at it for a moment, then stuffed half of it into her mouth and gulped it down.

"Well?," asked Greg. "How is it?" Rose's eyes lit up.

"It's delicious!" And she stuffed the rest of into her face.
