"thanks for tonight. i had a lot of fun with you."
michael smiled at luke as he stood at the front door of his apartment. luke smiled back at him, barely noticeable due to the darkness that surrounded them. but michael saw it, and it made his heart flutter.
"i had a lot of fun, too. i hope i get to go out with you again, soon," luke said. michael nodded and replied, "me too...maybe next week?"
"sure. i'll call you tomorrow."
"alright, see you," michael smiled widely and unlocked the front door. luke nodded and walked away from michael slowly, waiting for him to walk into his apartment.
michael waved slightly at him and luke waved back as he walked inside and closed the door behind. he locked the door and looked around in the darkness. ashton wasn't back yet, but that was okay.
michael didn't mind the fact that he was alone for the night. back then it used to scare him and made sleeping a lot more impossible for him. but tonight, he felt like he would be able to sleep well with the thought of luke in his head.
