You turn, looking back at the still wet Wade. You feel a soft heat run across the bridge of your nose.

"Uhm, I was just, uh..." You rack your brain for a good excuse. "...j-just saw that you had some books and I wanted to look at them."

He lifts an eyebrow at you before going to the closet beside him. He pulls out a Pretty Reckless t-shirt and a pair of blue jeans. You frowned at this, knowing the moon is still shining brightly through the window.

You still clutch the album, holding it to your chest. "You're getting dressed? It's the middle of the damn night. What are you going to do?"

He shrugs, grabbing a pair of Calvin Klein boxers from his dresser. "Just going out. Meeting some people. Doin' shit." He replies, grabbing the outfit and going back to the bathroom.

You wait for the door to close before you immediately skip out. You jog the rest of the way down the hall until you reach some stairs. You take two at a time as you go down them. You finally reach the front door after what seems like hours spent in the maze of stairs and hallways. You bust out into the moonlight. You turn out to be in the house you'd stopped by before. Still dressed in shorts and a tank top, completely forgetting about your crap, you continue on, somehow losing the album that you had clung to.

You wrap your arms around yourself, huffing, trying to warm yourself. You feel the snow between your toes, hurrying faster. You walk a few blocks to the police department, stepping inside. The warm air hits you as the desk clerk, Judith, looks at you sideways.

"(Y/N)? Are you ok?" She asks, standing and shuffling to your side. "You look terrible."

She feels your forehead, receiving a wince from you. You had forgotten about being in the crash. You didn't stop by a bathroom to look at yourself. She was right, you probably did look aweful.

"Let's get you to a bathroom to fix ya up, okay?" She leads you to the back bathroom, wrapping one of her blankets around you that she always keeps in this place incase someone homeless needed it or something.

Sorry, guys, about the random music. I just thought you all would like to listen to some cringy ass music as you read. You're welcome. Love y'all.
