(I am completely SHOOK guys!! So frickin' shook. But anyways, enough of my shookness (yes I made that word up) so I'll get to the amazing story now!)
Judith reappears, a large band-aid in her hands. She tears open the package that keeps the small sticky object, peeling off the small papers and setting them on the break room table. She gently presses the band-aid to your head, stepping back when she finishes it off with a small, gently peck.
"I'll be takin' ya home now." She smiles softly, grasping your right hand with her left. She slowly leads you out of the building, locking up after grabbing her stuff and leading you out the front door.
You two soon approach her car. She unlocks the passenger seat to the red 1966 Shelby 427 Cobra. You stare at it, shocked that someone could keep an old car like this running and looking so nice. You hear a muffled laugh come from her as she opens the drivers door, sliding in. You get in and shut the door just as she starts the car. You pull on the seatbelt, your head spinning on thoughts of what happened when you got into your car accident. You sigh gently.
"Judith?" You ask, not braking your eyes away from the city that's held captive from outside this small car.
"Yes, Hun." She replies, sounding more tired then anything else.
You felt weak and lightheaded. You didn't want to be so greedy and ask anymore of the old girl, but you didn't want to go home. You were afraid Wade was going to come looking for you since you ran off. You didn't want to see him. Not again. Not for a third time.
"Would it be ok if you dropped me off at a motel or something?" You ask, glancing at her, watching for her reaction, hoping she wouldn't ask why.
"I wouldn't mind doin' so." She smiles, her eyes still on the road. You nod an ok and look back out the window.
(I know. I keep rushing the plot a little and I'm vague on a lotta stuff. But I'll try and work on that guys. But I really appreciate that this has already got 300 views. Didn't expect that. And I wish to have at least 1k views on this one. My New Years resolutions, btw, are to get a lotta views on this book and my other ones. And to do that, I want y'all to share my books. So yea!
