Nothing. Absolutely nothing. You were confused. You shake your head and hang up. That was unprofessional but it you thought it was one of those prank calls again. It sure as hell seemed like it.

----------

You hadn't heard the "wait" before you hung up. You just simply hung up on whoever that was. And you didn't seem to care who it was.

Hours pass after the call, and by then, it was late, maybe around supper time, that Judith emerges into your office. She could tell that you were tired and ready to go. She could simply look at your face and sense it. You look up, smiling warmly at her.

"Hello. I've got a few more things to work on and then I'll be leaving." You reassure her. The look she had on her face was filler with concern.

"Ok, deary. I'm going to loan you my car until you can get your own." She places her car keys on your desk near the Mac computer that stood towards the left corner of your crowded desk.

You glance at the keys and then at the sweet women. "Thank you, Judith. I really appreciate that."

She shrugs softly and steps back. "It's the least I could do to help you."

You smile still at her as she leaves. You forgot to ask her how she would get home but she had already left by the time you had thought to ask. After finishing the papers you had been working on, you stood and stretched. Yawning, you grab your jacket and Judith's keys. The thought of stopping by your favorite bar entered your mind. The thought stuck and you went with it. After shrugging on the jacket and bracing yourself for the outside weather, you walk briskly to Judith's car, unlocking it.

(Hey, sorry it took so long to post this. I'd really appreciate it if you all suggest what you all would like to happen next at the bar. Okie dokie. Love y'all! And sorry it's still pretty short.)
