Judith presses you gently down onto the bathroom toilet. You'd stolen a glance at yourself in the morror, and you were slightly horrified. Blood stained a little part of your forehead and your hair was a bit matted. You looked away and looked down at your reddish blue feet. The snow was freezing and left your feet completely numb. Judith begins to start a bucket full of hot water. After it's filled, she sets it before you, placing your numb feet into the steaming water.
She grabs a rag, dipping it into the bucket. She wipes your forehead, rubbing off the dried blood. She doesn't speak as she works on you. You didn't push to end the silence. You kind of liked it. It gave you a little time to think about what happened. To think about why Wade saved you and why he had that picture.
After about thirty minutes, you could feel your feet and Judith had finished wiping your face off. She smiled softly at you as you pull your feet out of the bucket. She slips her shoes off and takes off her socks. She slides the socks onto your feet to trap the heat on your feet. She takes a comb out of her pocket and begins to gingerly brush your tangled hair. You since every so often.
When she's finished, you look better then you were when you arrived. You stand, nodding your head in thanks. She smiles back, keeping the blanket wrapped around you.
"Go. Sit at my desk, I'll make some hot chocolate and warm up a few cookies." She looks at you, concerned.
"Judith, you're treating me like I just dealt with a heartbreak." You chuckle softly. She replies with a soft laugh and a gentle shake of her head. You walk back to her desk, sitting in the plastic swivel chair, keeping the blanket around you.
You let your mind wander more, thinking of everything.
