On the first day of Christmas, Camp Half-Blood gave to me...
"Percy! Dont you dare touch that batter!"
"But Annabeth, it smells so good!"
"I put the next batch in the oven!"
"Why does it take so long to bake! Cant I just use my fire to bake it?"
"Frank, how do I look at the recipe? The screen went black again."
"Ugh, this place is too colorful."
"I may or may not have just spilled the flour."
"Jason! Clean it up!"
The seven were baking cookies to eat for Christmas, though it seemed to be going pretty bad.
Nico stood in the corner, cursing Christmas for existing. Jason was in charge of bring the ingredients and managed the spill the bag of flour. Percy was begging to eat some cookies, while Annabeth fended him off. Hazel couldn't figure out how to open the recipe online. Frank was in charge of putting the cookies in the oven. Leo was trying to cook using his own fire.
"Um guys..." Leo says.
"What did you do Repair Boy?"
Leo innocently raised his hand, and there was a burning cookie on his hands.
"Leo! Dont burn this place down!" Piper shrieked, pouring water over his hand.
"What would happen if we made peppermint cookies?" Percy thought before starting to crush peppermint candies. Glad that he was no longer trying to steal cookies, Annabeth went to go help Hazel.
He added the peppermint candies to the next batch before putting it in the oven.
"Jason... the wind isnt going to clean the flour." Piper deadpanned.
"Sorry Pipes! Um... I dont really know what to do..."
"Boys!"
"Hey guys, I think theres something wrong with this batch." Frank mumbled.
"What?"
Frank opened the oven and let everyone see the cookies. Or... what was supposed to be cookies.
"What happened to them? It looks like meat.." Jason commented.
The cookies flattened out and form one big bubbly mess. Also, they were bright pink like raw meat.
"Aw man, I was looking forward to this batch too!" Percy complained.
"Percy, what did you do?"
"Add peppermint to the batter?"
"Percy! Dont you know the sugar will react with the heat? It doesnt work just like that!"
"Just throw it out." Annabeth sighed.
"I mean I would, but its kind of... stuck." Frank says, trying to scrape off the batter from the baking pan, not being successful at all.
"Well I guess thats my attempt at baking." Percy said sheepishly, while everyone else face palmed.
