When she kissed me I felt a jolt of electricity go through my body and I found myself kissing her back. I felt her smile into the kiss. Her hands snaked their way around my waist bringing me even closer to her. My hands making their way up her shirt, then I realized what I was doing and pushed myself away. "I'm sorry I have to go." I walked out of the music room and headed towards third period. I stopped at my locker and grabbed some things for history and let out a breath that I didn't realize I was holding.

I can't believe I'm talking to my dead girlfriend in my head. I close my locker and head for history, just as I grab the door handle I hear my name being called, so I look over and see Kay running over to me. "What do you want Kay?" I look over at her, she was really pretty, the way her blue eyes pop out with the eye shadow she wore, her blond curls loose in the wind. "Will you come with me for a minute, I want to talk to you." I looked at the clock and saw we had about 20 minutes before we had to be in class, so I agreed. She grabbed my hand and pulled me along to the front of the school and stopped. "So what-" she put her finger on my lips to shut me up. "Look about what I did in the music room I'm sorry but I really like you and I asked your friends where you were and they told me you were in the music room. I went there to kind of confess my feelings but the song was really beautiful and I didn't know what to do and being alone in the music room didn't help me a bit. To tell the truth I feel really crazy right now because I've never felt quite like this before." I started to laugh at her. "no , crazy is your dead ex-girlfriend talking in your head telling you to go out with someone else, that is crazy but that also happens to be me." She looked at me with a slight smile on her face. "You want to hear how my mom found out about the two of us?" I asked looking at her waiting for a reply. "Sure." She said sitting down on one of the benches. "Well it was my birthday and I forgot to tell her so she ran away trying to leave but I chased after her. I told her that she was the best birthday gift and kissed her, she asked if I wanted to go to her house and continue but her mom was home so we went to my house instead. We were in the middle of it all and my door opens revealing my very surprised mother. And even though she was there we continued and later that night I dropped her off at the school so she could get her car and go home to get some things to come back to my house. I waited for her thinking that maybe her mother wouldn't let her come back but the next morning I found out that wasn't the case, she was killed by a drunk driver." I looked over at her and found her staring at me. "What?" she moved closer to me and pulled me into a hug. "I'm sorry for making you remember, don't cry." Oh that must have been why she was staring at me. "I'm fine really."
I grabbed my phone out to check the time and we only had five minutes left before third period. I looked back to her, she looked so radiant I wanted to kiss her but I didn't want to prove Lena right and end up going out with Kay. As if sensing my want to kiss her Kay pulled herself from the hug and kissed me. "Please consider what we were talking about, I know it takes time for things to heal and I am willing to wait for you." She said standing up and walking back inside. She's willing to wait for me? Why? She's barely known me a day and she already wants me. Wait a minute. Then it hit I knew who she was she isn't a new student she's been here the entire time. She's the girl who used to sit in the front of the class. Who knew she could be that cute, even when I was with Lena she would always look back at me with a smile.
I got up and walked to third period and sat in the back with Shane and his buddies. "So Andi what's with the sudden decision to come back to school?" He asked leaning forward. I looked back at him. "I just thought I had to get out live again seeing as I've locked myself away for months." I answered his question and layed my head on my desk and fell asleep and started to dream of her.
