What is it? I sit up in my bed and look around.
Oh just my alarm, but when did I fall asleep? I get off my bed and get dressed, walking down the steps I notice it's quiet. "Mom, you here?" I looked in the and found a note sitting on the counter,
Dear Candice during the night you were screaming and this morning you didn't look to well so I reset your clock and called you off of school. I hope you feel better. Love Mom
I guess I can go to the field for a bit, it seems really nice out. I grab my keys and walk out to my car and head to the field. When I got there I noticed that Kay was there sitting down, so I decided to sneak up on her. I crept closer and closer to her and when I was right behind her I grabbed her. She let out a slight scream and jumped. "That was very mean of you to do Andi." I let go and sat beside her and laughed. "Sorry Kay I couldn't resist the chance to do it." She looked at me and smiled then hugged me. "I missed you in class today you know." I hugged her back and smiled. "My mom reset my alarm because I didn't look good this morning." She mouthed and oh and looked up at the sky. "Um... you know Kay there was something I wanted to ask you." I stopped and looked at her. "And what is that?" She looked at me intensely and I decided I would just flat out ask her. "Um....Kay would you go out with me?" I looked down at the ground my face turning a very bright red. She gasped and went silent then started to stutter her words. "Um...er...I-I...w- would...love to." I looked over at Kay and questions began to reel in my head. Why did she stutter? Did she find someone else? As I was deep in thought I noticed Kay was waving her hand in my face. "Huh...what?" She smiled and laughed a bit. "Are you ok, you keep spacing out?" I let out a sigh and looked up at the sky. "I'm fine just thinking." I saw her look up at the sky as well. "Oh what were you thinking about?" She brought her head back down to look at me. "I don't want a relationship built on lies, so I will tell the truth. I was just wondering why you stuttered and if I was no longer the one you love. I don't know why these questions are in my head but I don't like it." I then brought my head down to look back at her, she brought her body closer to mine, still looking intently she wrapped her arms around me and pulled me into her. "I love no one but you, so don't worry. And I only stuttered my reply because you caught me off guard with the question, seeing as I've only known you personally about a day." She kissed my neck and smiled. I had to get her off. If not I might not be able to control my desire to have her.
As she continued my body suddenly tensed up and she must have felt it because she pulled away and looked at me worriedly. "What's wrong Andi?" I sighed in relief and my body relaxed. "Nothing is wrong, it's just that the way you were hanging on me was tempting me to no end and I don't think you would have liked that." She looked at me and blushed and moved away from me a bit. "I'm sorry." I laughed at her a little then scooted myself next to her. "I never said you had to be that far away, you were just tempting me a bit." I put my arm around her and leaned her head on my shoulder. She looked up at me with one eyebrow raised. "Just a bit?" she must have felt my pulse at some point because my heart was racing because of her. "Ok you got me you are extremely tempting, but I'm at least holding myself back from doing anything." I blushed a very deep red and she looked dead at me. "Do you want to do something to me?" She was now inches from my face, her skin blemish free and her eyes that look like their reading me like a book and her beautiful lips I just wanted to kiss them. The longer I looked at her, the harder it was to resist my desire for her. I stood up and started to walk around the field and I could feel her gaze on me. "You really do don't you?" She said standing herself up and walking towards me but every time she was close I walked farther away. I looked at her and saw the look of pain in her eyes and decided I had to stop moving away from her, I couldn't hurt her not after I just asked her out just a bit ago. I walked up to her and hugged her while whispering in her ear. "Whatever I do to you is not my responsibility anymore I hope you know that." She shivered at my touch and nodded her head in acceptance of that fact. I pulled my head away from her ear and kissed her and she kissed back but stopped and pulled away. "I realize we're just going with the flow of events and all but I kind of don't want my first time to be in a field." She said trying not to be offensive about it and I laughed. "We'll stop here for today then." We walked to my car and got in. "Come over to my house Andi." She said turning towards me with a smile. I let out a sigh and started driving to her house. I wonder if she is trying to get me to continue at her house.
