Chapter 5

-- Ian's POV --

"Ok, Callie. Feel better now? Lets go back to the living room."

Time has flew by so quickly.

It's already 8:00 pm.

It's been a long day.

" Hey, Ian?"

" Yes, Callie?"

" I'm just wondering. Where is Anthony? You never told me."

Oh, yeah. I forgot about Anthony. Haha. He's gotta be in Hawaii by now.

" He's in Hawaii with Kalel for vacation."

"Ok, if you talk to him sometime soon tell him and Kalel I said 'Hi' "

"Ok, Will do Callie Lou!"

"Callie Lou? What did you get that from?"

"Oh... Sorry. I just thought 'cause it rhymed. It would be cool. I won't call you that if you don't-"

"- I like it, Ian."

Ok. Then that's my special name for Callie. Callie Lou.

Callie Yawns.

"Ian... *yawn*. I'm tired"

It is getting a little late.

I'll take her to my Bedroom and she can sleep with me.

I won't.... You know.... But just so she's close by if she needs something. And I can cuddle close to her and keep her safe and warm..... Not because of that other reason.

"Ok, Callie Lou. I'll carry you to my bedroom. You can sleep in my bed with me. It's better there because its more comfortable than the couch and if you need something I'm right there for you."

"Ok. I'm fine with that. I just don't want to-"

I know exactly what she's thinking.

"- I know. Don't worry. We won't."

"Ok. Thanks, Ian Boo Boo Bear."

Aww. I love it when she calls me that.

Ian Boo Boo Bear.

"You ready to go to my room?"

"Yeah."

I pick Callie up gently and carry her to my room.

I turn on the lights, pull down the covers, and carefully lay Callie on my bed.

I get my phone and my laptop and hop into bed next to Callie.

I hold her close.

Trying to keep her warm.

" I have my Laptop. Do you wanna go to bed right now or watch some Smosh?"

" I wanna watch Smosh!!!"

Aww. She sounds so happy!!

Wait... I totally forgot!!!

Her parents. They must be worried about her!

"Callie, what about your parents? Won't they be worried that you're not home?"

"No, they don't care if I don't come home. They barely notice me."

Really?!

Why? Just why? How can someone neglect another person like that?

"Oh, ok." I say frowning

I remember Callie's arms.

I look down and gently hold her left arm in my hand.
