Happy Late New Year everyone! It was difficult for me to write this one but is it good? Is it too short? Do you like longer chapters? Let me know what you think, I don't mind.

"Whoa, sorry about tha- Ace?" You gaped. The raven-haired man had a similar reaction, calling out your first name in surprise.
"[name]?" He exclaimed, spilling his drink a little onto your jumper. "Oh, whoops. Sorry, sorry!" He panicked, immediately grabbing a couple of tissues from a box and beginning to try and remove the stain from the hem of it.
"Hey, Ace-san. It's fine, really. I can just take off my jumper, see?" You chuckled, taking it off and tying it around your waist. He looked a little disappointed but he smiled a little, scratching the back of his head. Wonder what that was about.
"Yeah... sorry. I just heard that red wine stains clothes." He muttered with slightly pink cheeks. You nodded in understanding but didn't want to burst his kindness at trying to remove it, knowing that rubbing it actually made it worse.
"That's understandable. Thank you, though, for trying. I appreciate it." You smiled at him, your own cheeks starting to grow a little hot. He nodded, drinking his drink again. "Um, Ace-san, may I ask you something?" He glanced at you, giving you the confirmation.
"W-why are you here? Not that I don't want you here! It's just that we are in a bar and it's uncommon for students to be allowed in yet." You stumbled, feeling a little flustered at his casual actions with you.
"Well," he put his drink down. "I'm actually nineteen which allows me into the bar and I'm also Whitebeard's son, which gave me access to the party." You choked on your drink, feeling a little faint.
"Y-you're W-Whitebeard's s-son?!" He laughed and nodded, taking off his shirt. "Whoa, whoa, Ace-san! Please keep your clothes on! This is a public area!" You heavily blushed, covering your eyes with your hand. You could hear his laughter and peeked through your fingers, wondering what the big joke was about.
"Don't worry, it'll only be a second. Look, I have his mark on my back." He reassured you. He was telling the truth. There was a huge purple mark of Whitebeard's signature icon that could be seen on most of Whitebeard's family.
"Wow, you're dedicated." You commented as he put his shirt back on.
"He's not blood-related to me if you're wondering, and Luffy and Sabo aren't his sons either. It's just me." He admitted. You smiled and nodded, finishing your bottle before getting up to toss away.
"Um," would it be weird if I said I'll be back? We're not really close and I not sure if he wants to continue conversing. "I'm just tossing this in the bin." You awkwardly said, walking away a bit.
"I'll come with you! I need to... toss these tissues out!" He seemed to have hesitated. Does he... actually want to talk to me?
He joined you to the walk through the crowded people, trying to reach the only bin at the entrance. "Can I... hold your hand?" You froze, the feeling of butterflies starting to build up.
"Um-," you quaked.
"N-not in t-that way! Just so we don't lose each other." Ace clarified with a nervous smile on his face.
"S-sure." He reached for your hand and held it gently in his own, helping you past the people. So warm...
You head felt clouded as the people around you seemed to disappear. Only Ace stood out to you with his warmness flowing into your hand. He looked back to smile at you, his teeth gleaming. So, so warm... Heart beating fast you smiled back connecting gazes with him. His normally stormy eyes were calm, almost welcoming. You felt your breath stop as fireworks were practically lighting up around you and the lights gathered around him. Why is he so warm...?
He looked away to focus where he was going again. You knew your cheeks were probably flaming and your heartbeat wasn't going to settle anytime soon.
Throwing the rubbish away, he started talking again about little things such as how the party was the largest one he had been to in a while but you couldn't respond or focus for that matter. Your thoughts were still whirling around in a giant mess inside your head and your heart wasn't slowing anytime soon and the fact was he was still holding your hand was filling your mind.
Ace... why do you have to do this to me. I think... I like you too much to let you go now... please... stay with me for a little longer. Just for this final year.

[to everyone] Q: Has there ever been that one person that makes fireworks go everywhere when you're near them?
[personal] A: Yeah. They're very nice in my opinion :).
