Merry Christmas everyone~! Do I put too much detail in some parts and not enough in others? Are they too OOC? Am I moving too fast? Let me know! Tell me any mistakes, I don't mind.

As if hoping to burn a hole in your head, the indigo eyed teenager glared at you as she practically threw her bag on and stormed out of your office. "Well, that wasn't too bad."

The day over, you were just about done and ready to head home. There was just one other task that you needed to take care of.

"Come in." Turning the knob and entering, you greeted him with a small bow.

"Good evening, Shanks-san. I apologise for interrupting your work." The cheerful man instantly looked up with a grin, eyes sparkling.

"Ah, [name]-san! That's okay! Please, sit down. How have you be?" Complying with his wishes, you settled down with your hands in your lap.

"I've been very well, thank you. How are you?"

"Good, good. Now, what can I help you with? Or did you want to have that coffee now~?" He still remembers that? I thought he would've forgotten about me by now.

"Ah, no, no. I mean, not to the coffee. I would like to have coffee with you. Just maybe at a later time. Um, sorry. What I came here for was a request that you could pass a message on...?"

"Haha, okay. But in return, get some coffee with me in an hour." It wasn't a request this time, more a deal.

Grumbling about persistent people, you agreed with slightly red cheeks. "Okay, then."

"Great! Don't forget to wear something nice. Now, the message?"

"Huh? Oh, yes! Right. You're a close friend of Luffy's outside of school, right? Okay, well his older brother, Portgas, has a rescheduled detention with me tomorrow morning. I forgot to tell him so..."

"You want me to ask Luffy to tell Ace that his detention's tomorrow morning. No problem." Sighing in relief, you smiled clearly at the older man.

"Thank you, Shanks-san! This helps me out a lot." Bowing, you hurried to leave the office but he halted you before you could get away.

"So, I'll pick you up at your house at five-twenty?" Holding the door knob again, you looked back and nodded, that same smile gleaming at him.

"It's not a date, though." Shanks laughed and shooed me out the door, joining me outside.

"Address?"

"86 West Blue, Davidson Avenue." Twirling a strand of hair, you watched as he transcribed this down on a notepad.

"No phone?" You couldn't help but ask. He smirked and leaned down to your ear just close enough that his fringe barely nudged your cheek.

"Well, I lost my phone number, can I have yours?" Ears tinting red. You coughed and took a not so unobvious step away.

"I'm not so sure how that relates to your phone... but I'm guessing you actually want my phone number?"

"Ha, how'd you know?"

Sighing, you took the notepad and pen away from him, scribbling it down before passing it back.

"Thanks [name]-san~."

Searching your wardrobe for something nice to wear, you couldn't help but feel oblige to turn on the radio. Something was just telling you that it was important. "-reported to the local police and are now being asked to be broadcasted across New Coo Radio." Realising the serious matter, you turned up the volume.

"In the area of the Blue City," You're lips suddenly felt dry. That was where you lived. "There has been sighted uninformed people knocking on doors and entering without permission. There seems to be a specific area targeted, West Blue." A cold chill crept up your spine. Feeling more subconscious, you peeked outside the curtained window to meet eyes with someone else.

A choked scream left you and you stumbled backwards, tripping on a towel and falling to the ground. The curtain was a little open now and you could clearly see the insecure pink-haired child that was your neighbour's neighbour. "Coby?" You whispered.

Wincing a little, you pulled yourself to your feet and tugged aside the curtains while opening the window. "Coby, what are you doing here?" The frightened boy looked up at you, a strong sense of innocence flowing off him.

"She's back." Widening your eyes, you quickly helped the child inside, locking the panel behind him and closing the drapes. Fusing over him, making sure he was perfectly fine and not a single bruise was on his skin, you faintly heard the final line of the radio.

"If there is further information that people have on this, please ring at XXXX-XXX-XXX."

After settling the young child into the bathtub, you finally got back to choosing your outfit. However, once again, someone interrupted you.

The faint sound of someone knocking alerted you that someone was indeed at your door. Checking the time, you cursed as you saw that it was five-eighteen, two minutes earlier than twenty past. "Who is it?" You shouted, choosing to wear a white shirt with the printed bold word, 'nice' on it. Also, black jeggings and your favourite hoodie that was a horizontal striped pattern of light and dark grey with a clear fading white icon of a [choice].

Quickly throwing off your pyjamas and getting changed, you heard the faint reply of "Santa Claus." Smoothing your hoodie out, you rushed to brush your hair while walking to the front door.

"Well, Santa Claus, I'll just be a minute." Setting down the brush you slipped on your flats and hurriedly made sure the house was locked at every window and door before stopping outside the bathroom.

"Coby? Are you okay?"

"Hm? Yeah, I am. Thank you very much [name]-san for letting me stay here." You smiled.

"Don't worry about it. Just, I'm going out tonight so is it okay if I leave you here or do you want to come with?" There was silence before a shifting of cloth and a drainage of water.

"I can stay here. I don't want to intrude."

"That's okay, Coby. Remember to lock the window in there and don't answer the door, okay? If you're hungry, there's some food in the fridge and pantry. Make sure you're in bed by eight and try not to use the lights too much. There are some people around and I don't want them knowing you're in here. If you're bored, you're free to read or watch television." The door rattled and the smaller boy came outside.

"Thank you again, [name]-san." He bowed and straightened up.

Sighing, you patted his head. "Anytime, Coby. See you later." Leaving the child to himself, you walked back to the front door and unlocked it.
